Got a boost juice this afternoon, post-flu treat. One sweet girl took our order and made our fresh juice. However there was a problem, my mother and I saw that the carrot that was put into the juicer had big black spots on the skin that we could see from across the counter, approximately 3m away from the juicer. What could it be? Mould! 𤢠we kindly told the girl that we saw mould on the carrot she just juiced for us. She went to another girl for advice and⌠the girl advised her âjust tell her it wasnât mouldâ. More irritating was they had a minute discussion amongst themselves, the girl giving advice rolled her eyes and was scoffing. After that, she came to us and didnât apologise, straight up firmly said it wasnât mould; âthe skin is not peeled. Itâs not peeled so it was dirt, not mould.â WHY WOULD YOU JUICE A CARROT WITH DIRT ON IT? Why would not wash your carrots!? Youâre giving us molded veggies then telling us that it was dirt. Yuck. Never returning to boost again. Poor hygiene, sassy teenyboppers working and no integrity shown, except for the kind young lady that served us first and kept apologising. Not a brand I...
Read moreI have been buying from this store for years but since mid 2016 the people working there changed the quality of the drinks have dropped. Twice in December and again this week the drinks are tasteless and too runny for smoothies. ⚠Last week an Asian boy did our drinks and they were perfect. But today 20/12/19 a very young girl did them and they were very runny and tasteless and icy which got stuck in my straw. She added more ice when I complained and I asked if it would change the flavour, she said extra sorbet would cost extra as if $8 for a drink wasn't expensive enough. The juicer was so full of pulp it was spitting it out from the lid. But the girls there still wouldn't empty it and why is it that every person does the drinks different? They have a recipe to follow so why aren't they? The Manager is obviously to busy and can't be bothered to check his staff. Won't be buying...
Read moreAfter 2 bad experiences, I won't be going back. During my most recent visit, there was no signage that Boost Juice was closed & no hours posted that I saw. Since 3 staff members appeared to still be working, I simply asked, âExcuse me, are you closed?â and one of the workers turned to me as if I was the dumbest person alive and replied, âYes, OF COURSE!â, rolled her eyes, & then laughed. I ran off because I was already quite sensitive from having really bad day, but they continued to loudly complain about me so that my partner & others could hear them clearly. All they needed to say was âyes" & go about their day...But instead they chose to be brazenly rude & make sure that everyone knew how dumb I was for asking?? It just left us feeling uncomfortable with the idea of going there again, particularly if they regularly react that negatively towards customer...
