On the 6th of July, my friends and I visited Skyways Hotel for lunch and to catch up. It was a place she had been wanting to try, and online, it looked promising. We all ordered food either via QR code or at the bar. My partner and I ordered our food, and I was particularly drawn to the Margarita Pizza online. However, the pizza I received was a complete disappointment. Also my partners burger was a little greasy & if the onions were not included to soak up the grease it would be very unpleasant to eat.
The description and appearance of the pizza I ordered stated that it had mozzarella cheese, basil, and tomato, but the pizza I received was entirely different. It included feta cheese and tomato pieces, but no mozzarella cheese. The tomato sauce was also excessively heavy and unpleasant to taste.
The waiter who brought out our food remarked that the food never looked the same as it did online, which I found misleading.
When I explained the issue to the manager, Kazzie, he walked away and returned, asking me again what the problem was. This clearly indicated that he wasn’t paying attention to my concerns. My friend also pointed out that he was smirking at me while I was telling him that the pizza wasn’t what I had ordered and that I simply wanted my money back because I didn’t like it at all.
To make matters worse, a staff member came and started collecting everything, including a bottle of water and glasses, without first asking if we had finished. When we asked if they were closing, she replied that they were getting ready for evening dinner.
