Brady Road Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

I've ordered from here about 7 times now. The first time was great, around a year ago. But every time since bar one, I order a deep pan pizza and I get a thin base instead. I hate thin base, I never want this. 3 times ago when I ordered I specifically called up after ordering online, to say I want a deep pan and never get one, and for once I actually got one. However when I tried again last time and tonight, both times was given a thin base instead. I hate thin base, I want deep pan, I want to taste the dough of the pizza, not have a piece of flatbread with toppings on it. Both tonight and last time speaking to the manager, me and my housemate were given a runaround being told that it was the 'fermentation' and these are in fact deep pan bases.. well, how many pizza places usually pan off a 0.5cm thick base as something other than thin!?

Furthermore, the meal deals on Uber and Doordash don't provide options for the Supreme (Lot) for the optional extras that you can order when you buy the pizza individually. Also the last two times I've requested those optional extras, I ONLY received extras I paid for, and NOT the pineapple, anchovies and bacon that you are meant to receive for free on a Supreme Lot pizza from this store. I called up straight after ordering to ask about this and was told 'it's already in the oven'. I repeated that I wanted the toppings and they paused for a while like they were adding them, then told me ok, so I ended the call. But they were just leading me on, the toppings weren't included.

I've also purchased extra lamb topping and similar in the past and not had it included. Wasted money on buying toppings that don't arrive. Tonight there was no capsicum that was paid for on an Hawaiian.

The pizza also isn't very well cooked/crispy and has gone downhill over the past months.

Please see my included photo for what a 'deep pan' pizza from this store is supposedly. NOT A DEEP PAN. 5mm = deep pan!? If so, what is a thin base??? 1mm!??! And the nerve to try to fob it off as 'fermentation' and claim me and my Michilen Star chef housemate don't know what a deep pan pizza is meant to look like. I mean, I have had two deep pan pizzas from here before so clearly it's an issue that some nights they don't actually make deep pan bases properly. Manager claimed he made the pizza too..

After being a loyal customer for the past year, I'm done and won't be returning after this experience. You've lost me and my housemate's money. Will be going to Johnny Boys, Pineapple Express, Pizza Strada or one of the many other local joints from now on. We used to support you based on previous good experiences but that good will is entirely gone now. I even convinced relatives to go to you, I'll be letting everyone know what a bad experience you have been...

Ordered 2 pizzas through Uber Eats. On mine, I put “extra sauce please” as there wasn’t enough sauce the last time I had eaten here. My pizza arrived with no sauce on it (literally just bread and toppings). I called the store to let them know and the man on the phone accused me of lying about there being no sauce, told me “there is a big difference between no sauce and not as much sauce as you want” and then “well all I can say is sorry there isn’t enough sauce for your liking.” I had hoped for a replacement pizza that I could pick up but instead I ended up having to dip my pizza in tomato paste from the pantry because it was so dry. My partner’s pizza was fine and had a regular amount of sauce so clearly mine was not made correctly. We won’t be returning here because of the atrocious service we were provided. I understand that mistakes happen when it’s busy and things get missed. I hope that management see this review and provide their staff with training on how to handle...

Extremely Disappointed After Years of Loyalty

We’ve been coming to Braddy Road Pizza Shop for years, even traveling quite a distance just to enjoy what used to be a decent pizza. Unfortunately, the quality and service have gone completely downhill.

Every single time we order, we ask for chilli on our pizza — a simple request that they consistently get wrong. It’s honestly frustrating how such a basic customization is beyond their ability to fulfill.

On top of that, the staff communication is terrible. No one seems to know what's going on, and if you try to clarify your order or follow up, you're met with confusion or indifference. It doesn't feel like they care about customer service at all.

To make things worse, the wait time is ridiculous. For a regular pizza, we’re left waiting far too long — it’s not worth it anymore.
