Branded Burgers & Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

The only thing that saves this restaurant is the burgers, here's why:

A burger, believe it or not will take them ONE HOUR AND A HALF PLUS I say plus because it usually SOMEHOW takes them longer. 1 hour and a half is generous. I asked why it took 2 hours to receive my food and the waitress exclaimed that I should have come on a Thursday instead....... What? How does that make sense. Even if Saturdays are your busiest night it doesn't take 2 hours to make 2 burgers. UNBELIEVABLE. There's always at least 7 employees in the store... What are they doing exactly??

The burgers are wayyyy too over priced, you pay 20-25 for a single burger and I'm clearly not paying for service.

There were as I said at least 7 employees there and NONE of them were wearing a mask during a pandemic (I know Karen alert, but seriously).

I guarantee your employees only put on masks when they left the restaurant to hand food to customers or were serving at the counter. No one was wearing a mask in the kitchen preparing my food.

I knew you'd kick and scream about covid and I understand that but I've been to plenty of restaurants that also have a takeaway service during covid that perform much faster than your staff.

Of course the prices are on the menu but that doesn't mean I can't...

Passed by the area to grab some lunch before heading our way to redwood in a sunday noon. QR code in place to check in. Food arrived after 30 mins, which is tolerable, because I always have this in my mind, "Good food is not fast food". Food was great! Very tasty burger, and wait time is worth it. So why 3 stars? Staff service is not that good. I don't feel welcomed. I just have this feeling that is very different in every diner that I have been to. We finished our meal, and there was leftover chips, I approached one of the wait staff and politely asked if I could grab some take away container, I always do this instead of asking them to do it, as it is just a simple thing to do to help them out, staff told me that it would take a minute.. I said alright, no worries. I know that they are just attending some customers who just arrived. Waited for at least 10 mins, and still nothing. I know i should just have asked again, but didnt. We just left the area. But, dont get me wrong, food was great and very tasty! I just hope that other people wont experience it also. I dont know if it's just me, but I just really dont feel welcomed in that place...

Not a bad burger place in Seville if you're in the area. We had the bacon, Mac and cheese balls and the pork nuggets (cube of pork belly that is crumbed and deep fried) to start which were pretty good! The burgers were nice and a good variety with pizza also available which looked pretty good. Didn't stay for dessert but they did have a Nutella pizza on the board which people looked to be enjoying.

Update - thanks for the response from owner and the question. I didn't go 5 star because 5 of the 6 of us had our order forgotten and it wasn't until the first person finished their pizza that the mistake was identified and the staff offered a free round of drinks to compensate. While we didn't mind, it wasn't ideal at the time with a young child in a pram in our group who later cracked it as we had been there for quite some time. Mistakes do happen and it was well handled which was why I didn't mention it initially, but is the reason why I didn't rate higher on this occasion. Keep up the good work and I'm sure we'll be there again when we travel...
