Rowanos Seville — Restaurant in Melbourne

Love the pizzas but the price coupled with a lack of service with requests is terrible, ask for extra ham on a pizza and you may get 2 to 3 individual pieces of shredded ham, they will be sure to charge you for it tho, have brought it up when ordering, they offered to put the extras on with no charge, and guess what.... no extras. If I request extra ham or salami, and it comes with two handfuls of ham or 6 slices of salami, id expect 4 handfuls of ham and 12 pieces of salami, not one extra piece of salami or a quarter of a handful of ham, that i then get charged $5 extra for each.

Seem to be happily ripping off the community for a year now, and when confronted are not willing to change their ways.

Edit: To the owner, considering I asked for the owner last time I made this complaint and they promised that they would not charge me for the extras that they said they would add, but didnt.... nor the next time i ordered and asked for extras (even when i brought up the previous instance).... should I expect this responce to be another lie? Or was I speaking to a staff member that lied to me about being the owner? And should I expect them to lie again and keep lying in future or will this be rectified for all customers that make the same request?

Ill make a order sometime in the near future and either add to this negative review, advance it further or change it accordingly.

The food is nice but its so over priced. The pasta in particular is not worth the money. No question wandin pizza is far better value and we won't be back to rowanos. It's a real shame because Seville needs businesses that are in touch with the local community and this one is just price gouging becauce of the restricted choice. Get behind your local community and be reasonable with your pricing. It's not worth what you are charging. Simple as that. We are gone. People will come to the same conclusion in time.

So I figured I'd give them another shot in july, what disorganised chaos itcwas tryingto place a simple order. They can't hear your order on their phone when you call, then they tell you that one of the pasta dishes on their take away menu doesn't come as a take away anymore!! Then they tell you they aren't taking any more pizza orders because they're too busy. Who's running this circus? It's a disaster. Won't...

As a professional food critic, i visit many restaurants all over melbourne searching for a spectacular experience. Last night I visited Rowanos in Seville, seperate from my work, simply to enjoy my birthday. Never in my 13 years of professional food critic career have I experienced such a magnetic and outgoing group of staff and had such a pleasant dining experience. Particularly the restaurant manager, Jazz, took part in creating such a positive and lively birthday experience. I was greeted with nothing but pure happiness and kindness by this man, who really showed me how passionate he was in his work, and truly showed me that he cares deeply about his customers. The food was absolutely impeccable and honestly magical, i could taste the raw and pure passion that was delicately cured into each dish. I will 100% be returning and I 1000% recommend Rowanos as your next...
