I found this place when I used to work nearby years ago. Nowadays, I get off the freeway before my stop and go out of my way to visit any time I'm heading out of the city in that direction. Typically picking up a freshly made sandwich, the light rye bread is soft and fluffy with just enough crunch in the crust to delight. All the fillings are fresh and plentiful...including fresh avacado (not the pre-mushed stuff from a bottle). I don't drink coffee but sometimes pick up a chai. They're happy to use your reusable (keep) cup if you bring it in. The owner remembers my name and says hi every time I visit. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. The number of locals in the store every day makes this store an important hub for the community. There is seating inside and out. Plenty of old school Australian bakery cakes and breads to choose from. Sandwich filings galore, coffee options and a fridge full of a wide variety of cold drinks. There is an oven with hot pies, sausage rolls and other savoury pastries. The prices are extremely reasonable. Love it! 🍞🥐🥖🫓🥪☕️🧁🍪

Love this place, haven’t been for ages but I love that for nearly 30 years I have been able to buy my favourite - the Elvis roll (or sandwich as I had today)! It’s the best. Jam-packed with everything you want in a roll, always fresh, always delicious. Thank you team Bread ‘n’ Stuff, love your work 🙏🏼

I've been coming here since 2005, but today was my last visit. My friend and I had a lovely catch-up and stayed just under two hours. It wasn't busy—likely because of the awful weather—but the manager came over and had a go at us for staying too long taking up a table, even saying he'd charge us extra next time! When I tried to explain we hadn't realised the time and that I was a regular customer buying his light rye Vienna weekly, he just walked off mid-conversation. We let a staff member know how rude and embarrassing it was, but all she could do was apologise for her boss's behaviour. I don't like confrontations. The boss could have asked how the meals were or whether we'd like another coffee or anything. The way he spoke to us was beyond rude, and we left feeling confused and...

REALLY WANT TO GIVE A ZERO SCORE. i have visited this bread shop for the last 12 years for the convenience and there was an older Australian lady that was just a delight. I always tried to get served by her because she was so friendly, haven't seen her for a while, not sure if she is still there. Well today i had the worst customer experience from the owners. The staff are often rude and abrupt but Ive avoided them or ignored it thinking it may be a cultural thing, and i've taken them the wrong way. Well no, the are just bloody rude!!! Will never step foot in that shop again!!!!!! They all need training on...
