Kathrine my fiancée and I went to the Bridge Inn Hotel on Saturday. It took us numerous efforts to get a booking. But we understand why and that was everyone just raved about how good the food would be. So you would except it to be busy. The ambiance was very welcoming and the staff who attended to our needs Meg, Jess and Keera were absolutely professional and articulate in meeting our needs. Finally the food- Kathrine had the mussels. She said the mussels were better than any Italian restaurant where she had had mussels. I had the spaghetti marinara. Well there was a lot of good quality seafood. They were large portions of great quality food. We were absolutely blown away with the entire interaction at the Bridge Inn Hotel. Highly recommended the place. I would give it 12 out of 10. Definitely met our expectations.

I mean, I've been here a few times now, spread throughout the years, and well, has not changed much. Dread it each time, but family events seem to keep taking place here. Without exaggerating, ordered at 7:15 and the meals finally came out at 8:30. You'd think the wait would be worth it but it wasn't. Medium rare turned into medium to well done, but the worst part was how dry it was. It was drier than a Nuns Hoo- Haa. Nothing like a dry steak to appreciate Demazzi's or anywhere else really. The only redeeming quality would he the friendly staff. Please don't drag me back here to whomever I know reading this review.

Went there for the first time without a booking, Jess was so kind, got us a table and patiently gave us recommendations for food! The scotch fillet was so juicy and the award winning parma was perfect!! Love the fresh tap beer on a warm day! Will definitely go back again! - And we did, went back again last week without booking, manager of the night was so helpful and patient, he walked all the way with me to the other side of the building just to help me pick my drinks for the night! Absolutely love this place and so lucky to all the kind and friendly staff!

My wife and I (both seniors) have dined here for years, and sometimes taken family and friends. My go to meal is chicken Parma and typically a seniors meal has been about half the size of a normal Parma, that is until about 6 months ago. The last 4 times including today it has been at best 1/3 the size but about 2/3 the price. The chips were cold(room temp) and overcooked. My wife had grilled fish and chips with the same complaint. My description applies to our last 4 visits, and I tend to apply 3 strike rule. In short service good, food quality poor, value terrible.

Thanks for your reply to my review of 2 days ago and I appreciate you're defending your business. In response, my reference was about your chicken parma, NOT SCHNITZEL. The piece I got was round and about 11cm diameter, where a regular parma is oval and about 3 times the surface area. I also said this was not just my last visit, but my last 4 meals, and each time I commented to staff. If striving for great quality why serve those chips at all, regardless if last of a batch. If they're not good - don't serve them. That shows lack of care. Perhaps you should review your portions when compared to other venues nearby. Also, I previously forgot to mention that your new menu has no pasta or rice dishes, which puzzles me. Apparently pasta dishes will only be on your specials menu, which tend to be dearer, and nothing for kids. When we have previously brought our granddaughters, their go to meal has been...

I was giving the hotel a second chance after my last visit. This.time went with 16 family members and as we were waiting for our dinner I told them about our last experience and that we waited so long were the rest of my group ate mains and deserts and my family was still waiting. Guess what it happened all over again. We had 2 tables and first table got mains about 1hr after ordering second table about 30mins later by that time we had finished, but to make matters worse one meal was still missing a senior steak. When we ask when it will come the waitress said its going to be a while and this was 1.5hrs after ordering so we cancelled the meal and my uncle went with out. So much for going out for dinner together with the family. The head chef should lose his job as now he lost 16 customers who will tell 16 more he could not organise meals to come out at once if his job depended on it and guess what it does. Spoke to the manager no apolgy and got the excuse its just been one of those night. So I told her no nothing has changed in 5 months You need a big change. I would have expected some what of a discount especially after waiting 1.5hr for dinner I could have gone and bought everything myself gone home and cooked it and still would have been faster and would have tasted better and the family would have eaten all together like it should be. If you want a good night out give this place a miss and if you go dont go hungry and expect to wait a...

Tonight's Sunday meal was a big let and that's all four meals not sure what your chefs were doing but no care or love was put on a plate tonight just slapped on .We are regulars here and the food has been awesome the new menu change was sad .The two Nasi Goreng was inconsistent with chilli you'd get a tiny piece then a huge piece, chicken was just warm as meal as well with your pork l thought you said pork belly your using pork off the roast of the day reheating in a microwave not good the prawns were greesy too.The seniors meal my mother-in-law got was dry and burnt salad was dismal just flat not sitting up looking good like before the tomato she got had to be spat out and only one slither of cucumber. The S&P Calamari salad same and was really white had no colour. I wanted my wife to have a enjoyable dinner to give her a break from cooking we should of just stayed home. The Aranchini was hard as a cricket ball as well deep fried where was the truffle oil.The lady who took our order she's always lovely.but felt the waitress rushed us taking our plates way to early. Also you had run out of Atlantic Salmon which we ordered but were told we couldn't have it maybe let us know before giving us the menu or just cross it out. I could definitely taste the microwave in your...
