Large and comfortable Vietnamese restaurant. Enjoyed sitting on the large red chairs were soft and cushy. Great homely environemnt with the TV playing in the background. The decoration felt quite cool - there was a map of the world with all the different currencies, lots of fine liquor and the owner seems to be a Chelsea FC fan. The BBH is where it is at though!!! Ordered BBH ($16.00) - mmmmmmmmmmm. This was the best BBH I have ever had and I have had a lot of BBH. So much lemongrass goodness!!! It just made you mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ahhhhh, and then mmmmm again with every slurp. My soul was soothed +++++!!. The noodles where adante and perfect. The oily film on the top was flavourful and perfect. The spice level was perfect. The beef slices were tender and perfect. Perfection!!! Bun thit nuong cha gio ( grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli) ($17). This dish was a miss as the bun, the most important part of the dish was served too warm and felt overcooked. The springrolls and pork were freshly fried and the vegetables were crisp adding texture. Wished the bun was better! Unfortunately on our first order there was a fly in the dish which is understandable for a busy restaurant. This was quickly replaced with everything freshly fried. Com tam dac biet: classic flavours and a good version. Appreciate the 2 eggs! Pho dac biet: ahhhh so homely. Not the best I've ever had but this is a reliable pho that you can enjoy and feel stuffed. Great herbaceous and beefy flavours to be had here! Overall order the BBH - you will be blown away!!! Will continue to try dishes and update the review!

Have been to a lot of Pho and Bun Bo Hue shops in Springvale. Had been a while since going to Chu Le when they were in the original spot, just felt a bit too cramped for my liking. They have made an excellent choice moving next to the ANZ building. So much more comfortable and I had forgotten how good the Pho and Bun bo hue is here. Clean soup that doesn't leave you needing to drink tons of water afterwards because it was packed with too much MSG. I came during the week for lunch and was served almost immediately. Generous servicings of sliced beef, plus the mint, bean shouts, chilli and slice of lemon. Chilli and Oyster sauce containers were clean and didn't have the hard bits of sauce on the tips which put me off using them. Look like I may be converting to my new go to Pho shop in Springvale. Heads up there is a credit card surcharge so bring cash to avoid it.

Dad and I got 2 Pork Chops and Broken Rice. I also got an extra bowl of rice. Mom got the Bun Bo Hue. The pork chop and rice was delicious. The pork chop, lovely golden-brown. Crispy, because I believe they deep-fry the pork chop. It wasn't dry. It was cooked perfectly. Tender in the inside. Love the hit of the lemongrass. The lemongrass wasn't burnt. The rice was not bad. The grains weren't too sticky. Soft, but not over-cooked. The extra rice was cooked. However, there were some bits that stuck together, because they didn't mix the rice evenly, so that all the grains are evenly cooked. The tea was good. Has a nice tea flavour. Nice brown colour. Wasn't too acidic. The servers were friendly, knew Vietnamese. Communicative, attentive. Overall, not a bad Vietnamese restaurant.

THE SERVICE!!! From the moment you walk in Paul and the staff greets you with a smile, this warms our hearts immediately! We are directed to our table or they give us the option to choose where we want to sit (on the not so busy days). Paul is always so friendly and welcoming. His mood sets the tone, ALWAYS SO CHEERFUL. He goes out of his way to check on how your meal went, conversates with you and is always so freaken sweet. THANKS PAUL, we love your hard work ❤️

THE PHO!!! This is why we keep coming back ✨ my partner and I love love love the brisket Pho! The best thing about it, is the broth. It has a earthy, aromatic taste. It's such a comforting soup, it's savory and rich, while still feeling clean and refreshing at the same time. Best in The South-East!

THE VIBE!!! Great for couples and large groups, even on your own. You are always Welcomed by Paul and his staff. So much room with many tables to choose from. The red chairs are really comfortable with music and a big screen TV playing in the background. So homey.

THE $!!! Every dish is so affordable and is cooked to perfection. Come and see for yourself 😉

Bun Bo Hue Chu Le will always be our first choice. We highly...

Nice spacious and clean restaurant. On my first time I had the Pho noodle soup. It was good, a bit on the light side in flavour but still quite good. The serve was a good size for $15. The Chilli oil on the table was notably tasty.

On my second visit I tried the Grilled Pork and Spring Roll vermicelli. It was nice but I probably won't have that again here. What I hate is when they say grilled pork but actually it's deep fried - it's a common issue in many restaurants. I found this dish a little insubstantial as it was just a few pieces of fried pork and spring rolls on plain vermicelli and raw veges without much flavour, unlike some other places where the grilled pork's marinade adds a really tasty flavour to the dish. Still overall I'd say it was ok but I had to drown it a little in chilli which I normally don't do with this dish.

Overall, friendly service, nice food, clean and spacious environment. I'd come again though not all the dishes would be equally delicious.

P/s paying with my debit card incurred a 3%...
