Burgertory (Mill Park) — Restaurant in Melbourne

I’ve tried Burgertory a couple of times at a couple of places. This time it’s Burgertory Mill Park’s turn. Customer service was business as usual, friendly but not over the top. I had the Pride burger and a serving of chips dusted with their flavoured salt. This was “ok” but it screamed of pre-made burger patty that was just heated up. It didn’t have that lovely caramelised crust like a patty just coming off a hot grill. It wasn’t juicy or full of flavour. Toppings of tomato, lettuce, onion, cheese and their own sauce was nice, but didn’t demonstrate mind blowing flavour. This is no reflection on the store, but rather it’s a chain store product. As I said, it’s “ok” but nothing special. The milk bun was just an average bun, as it cools it gets stale. Similar to any chain store burger. The chips were a mixed bag unfortunately. All had a lovely crunch on the outside but half were a little undercooked on the inside. I’m guessing they were taken out of the freezer and stuck into the fryer. So as my final verdict is Burgertory going to be my go to burger shop. Probably not. You may have a different experience, but it’s not a place that...

Went there last 26/12 around 9:30 PM. Ordered burgers, onion rings, and chicken wings. The lady punched in all our orders before saying that chicken wings were out of stock. We just decided to have the chicken popcorn and she just refunded us with cash as chicken popcorn was cheaper than wings. Not sure about the card surcharge though as she refunded as only the difference between the two prices. Burgers and onion rings were delivered. And we were waiting for the chicken popcorn. We almost finished the burger and rings when we remembered we didn't have the popcorn yet. I followed up, and they had forgotten our order. After 10-15mins, they brought it out but were too full already so we decided to take it home. Burgertory Mill Park SUCKS. We ordered through their own website (not Uber) and paid $9.60 for delivery. After 30 minutes with no update, we called, only to be told our food had been sitting there because “no one picked it up.” No apology, no urgency, nothing. We had to drive and collect it ourselves. When we got there, staff tried to fob us off with “contact Uber” for a refund (again, we didn’t use Uber) and flat-out refused to remake the order, despite it sitting out for over 30 minutes. They even tried to lie, claiming it had only been there 10–15 minutes. The food was pathetic, soggy burgers, limp cold chips we had to reheat in the air fryer just to make them edible.
