This has been our local Cafe since they opened, I had terrible experience tonight that I ordered 3 drinks with ice-cream, they came with the smallest scoop you could imagine, I told the lady about it, she ignored me, then I complained to the same lady, she ignored me again. When the gentleman came and explained that it's the size what they always offer. Then he walked off. Even though I mentioned that I have ordered the same drinks from other Cafe before and never came with small ice-cream like that. He then basically said that it is what it is. Even though I said I am sorry I will have to put it on your google review. His attitude was like who cares. Like what I mentioned before, I have been coming for years, and I was always happy with them, two rude staff can easily ruin a good relationship with their customers that has built up for a long time and ruin a business. I don't usually leave reviews unless it's extremely good or bad. I am sorry that I have to do this to show the owner. If those two are the owners, good luck with...
Read moreToday my mum took my two children to this cafe and from what they told me, the service was absolutely terrible.
Staffs were too busy to serve them tea or napkins when they arrived and seated. While spotted other customers helping themselves with water, my mum went to take their cups and my 10 year old daughter helped to get napkins. She took 5 napkins as they walked 20mins to get to that cafe and she sweated. Just when she got back to table , a staff member (or maybe the owner, with tattoos) rushed out from kitchen, rudely and angrily shouted to her, saying each person should only have 1 napkin and kids are not allowed to take them. Even worse, he strongly placed a napkin in front of my mum and each child, took the two extra napkins away from the table.
Precious napkins! ! !
I can try to understand if the napkins really mean a lot to them, but please at least say it in a better way.
We have been loyal customers here for many years, but after this shocking experience, we will never consider...
Read moreThis place has an extensive menu and lots of lunch deals. The special meals are a bang for your buck. For just $15 you get to pick a main protein/topping, pick a type of noodle and get tea or coffee PLUS toast with an omelette on the side. That’s the perfect meal right there. They did forget 1 serving of my omelette though. Had to follow up on this several times.
The rice noodle roll (cheung fun) reminded me of HK. But the downside was that it was heavily doused in peanut butter and hoisin sauce and it got quite sickening. Plus there was only 2 pieces of fish siu mai and 2 fish balls. Baked chicken was perfectly balanced and had the right amount of cream/cheese sauce to it. You can’t fault any HK cafe baked rice dish. French toast was divine. Salty and sweet. Thick and buttery. Service is like your typical HK cafe. You gotta wave down someone and you're bound to hear people shout at each other from across...
