Cafe Lelunar is a fantastic choice for a quick and delicious lunch or brunch, especially if you’re looking to escape the food court. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food arrived promptly and was packed with flavor. While the prices are on the higher side, the generous portion sizes make it worthwhile. I also appreciated the little details—like receiving extra sauce at no additional charge! My poached eggs were cooked to perfection, which was a definite highlight.

The coffee met Melbourne’s high standards—smooth, well-balanced, and not overly bitter. However, mine was served a bit cooler than expected, despite requesting it hot. The only real drawback was the café’s proximity to a children’s play area, which made for a noisy atmosphere. A partition or sound barrier would have made the space feel more relaxing.

Overall, Cafe Lelunar is a lovely spot with great food and friendly service. I’d happily return, though those who are sensitive to loud environments may want to keep the noise level in mind....

No wonder why I heard bad about this cafe. I believe the basic priority of any food business is to attract customers and I see the person there at closing time (don’t know if he is the owner or worker) don’t even allow the kids to sit on the seats (which are fixed on the ground and there is not a single customer in the cafe). When I asked why can’t you allow the kids to sit (I didn’t even sit), he said it’s only for customers (I regularly come here n bought coffee couple of times, am I not s customer?) and threatened me that he would call the security if kids don’t get up. Seriously???...

Appalling service. Ordered a coffee and the coffee was cold when made and tasted shocking. I told the man that was working to please make another one that’s warmer. He then snapped at me saying “what is it you want! “ he then took the cup poured the drink back into the coffee jug and re heated up THE SAME coffee and passed it to me. I then asked him if he remade it fresh and he snapped again speaking down to me and said yes it’s warmer. He lied to me. His attitude was horrible. Will never come back here again and will never talk highly of this place. Please get better staff....
