gee wee where do i start! let me start off with the temperature, i could have walked in with any clothes on and be satisfied the room temperature it was perfect and it really demonstrates the care the staff and owners have for there customers. Then I ordered a burger (can’t remember which one. silly me!) and waffle fries with a oreo thickshake. Liam especially walked over to serve me as soon as i walked up. Which he then personally walked to food out to me even tho i was standing there waiting anyways. The Oreo thickshake was absolutely delicious! Its rich, creamy texture combined with the indulgent flavor of crushed Oreo cookies created a heavenly treat that was both satisfying and addictive. Every sip was a delightful blend of sweetness and chocolatey goodness, making it a must-try for any Oreo lover. The burger was outstanding! The juicy patty was perfectly cooked, and the combination of fresh toppings and savory condiments created a burst of flavors in every bite. It was a truly satisfying and memorable burger experience, leaving me craving for more. And last but not least the waffle fries were a delightful surprise! Their crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior made for a satisfying contrast in textures. They were seasoned just right, adding a burst of flavor that complemented the fries' wonderful texture. Overall, they were a tasty and enjoyable side dish. The place was extremely clean and looked like a fun happy environment in the customer spaces as-well as the kitchen and staff places. Just wanted to leave and amazing review for these amazing people as my life has changed and i’ve become 15% happier with my life after eating here. Wow good job. i would come more often if it wasn’t so far from my house! Keep up the...
Read moreI’d driven past Carl’s for many months now and so I decided to give it a go for a burger fix on the way home one night.
The menu looked very inviting at the drive through and I was excited to try their product.
So I ordered two burgers, one being “The Carl” and the other “The Original”.
The Carl looked a little like a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder and the Original appeared to be similar to Angus beef style McFeast.
So my journey started at the drive through where I placed my order and all seemed business as usual but I very quickly realised that I was being funnelled into a traffic jam.
So after waiting for nearly 10 minutes I got my order and quickly scurried away to try these burgers.
It was off to a bad start with the burgers being lukewarm.
I examined “The Carl” which looked like a lifeless microwave burger with a chunk of lettuce jammed in. I was hungry so I quickly chowed down and could only get halfway through it.
Even average things can taste nice when you are famished, but not on this occasion. The Carl tasted like a cheap Burger King burger laced with sauce to hide the garbage underneath.
The “Original” came out looking better, but the beef patty was thin in comparison to the menu photo and the bread bun was getting stale as the heat left the burger.
The sauces in the burger weren’t anything special either, they reminded me of what you’d get from a supermarket.
If you are easily pleased, then drop by Carl Jr.
Otherwise take your hard earned...
Read moreDisclaimer: This is an honest review. I do not work for Maccas, HJ’s or even Carl’s Jr for that. Now that I’ve finally tried Carl’s Jr! it's 4/5 stars! It’s delish and a true competitor, directly with HJ’s. I tried their original chargrilled Angus burger, chilli fries and onion rings. The burger was B-I-G, perfectly balanced and flavoursome.. it just tasted great. A true competitor to the Whopper for sure. Chilli fries were nice, with touch of warmth, cheesy and meaty. With the fries, they’re thicker than Maccas and tasted better because they still have their skin on them. Onion rings are breadcrumbed, crunchy and tasty. Being crumbled they were already winning (not battered like the HJ’s version). Free soft drink refills in the restaurant was a nice touch. I highly recommend Carl’s Jr any chargrilled burger fans! I’ll be returning when I’m after a chargrilled fast food fix. Definitely a step above HJ’s, but you do pay extra for your tastebuds to sing. Overall, great having a Carl’s Jr nearby, surely competition is a good thing as it’ll make all of the big fast food operators be better. Carl’s Jr have been expanding fast in Australia... now I know...
