Floridia Cheese — Local services in Melbourne

A big shout out to Floridia Cheese for the wonderful experience I had with them last week. It was my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary and we had planned for all the interstate family to go to Melbourne for a celebration but unfortunately due to Covid 19 restrictions and border closures we weren't able to go. We were in NSW and wanted to send them something that we knew they would enjoy! Being Italian, there is always cheese on the table so we thought what better thing to send than Cheese! After some googling I contacted Floridia Cheese and spoke to the staff who were extremely great and helpful to talk to and I was able to order some lovely cheeses and get them delivered to my parents house. They boxed them up in a lovely hamper and even added a few extra things. My parents were very surprised and loved the cheeses. We've been coming here for the last few years and never had an issue but recently we noticed their quality went downhill. Ricotta that had a week before expiry date, unopened in a fridge, opened and it was off, had to throw it away. Today bought peccorino with red peppers, brought it home and it was unetable tasted like the shop. Took it back, the lady gave the money back quickly to get over and done with it, didn't care about the issue at all. Unfortunately not...

What can I say, as a 4th generation customer, it makes me beyond happy to know I have a place to go to that even my Bis Nonna would look forward to buying her cheese from all those years ago.
