Chelsea Inn Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

My grandma came in for dinner and forgot her card, she was then absolutely screamed at and abused by the owner of this restaurant. When I say scream - I mean screaming. What was my nan meant to do? She didn’t mean to leave her card at home and said she would send my dad to come pay. When my dad arrived he was then absolutely screamed at again and abused. Who on earth yells at an 81 year old women ON HER BIRTHDAY! The owner blocked the door and wouldn’t let my grandma leave. What sort of disgusting behaviour is this in Australia of all the places!!! Always went to and advised people ti go here, but last weekend was a disaster. We spent nearly $100 dollars, and 2 of our regular dishes were inedible. Our favour8, the combination seafood and chicken with cashews..asked fir extra sauce as we always do, and the boy onto The phone asked if we wasweet and sour sauce. I told him no because we hated it....but both dishes came with sweet and sour so ended up in the bin. When I rang tonight the manager implicated that I was lying. With the tight economy, a meal like this was supposed to be a treat. WILL NEVER GO...

Terrible, I am amazed that people rate this above 2 stars, they must never have eaten at a proper Chinese Restaurant.

Been using them on an off for 10 years in the hope they would improve as there are no Chinese places within 10k of us.

(special) Fried rice, is boiled rice with flavourless prawns All of their mains are (literally) padded out with 80% bland vegetables and a few token pieces of pork/beef Everything you order in batter is mostly batter. Horribly overpriced
