Chloe’s Photastic — Restaurant in Melbourne

So I arrived at the restaurant at 7:15 and placed my order. I was told 25 minutes..... thought that’s fine. It is Friday night at dinner time. Came back 25 minutes later to see a restaurant full of annoyed customers that had been waiting well over one and a half hours and were still being told another 20 minutes. I was tempted to walk out at this stage but thought I’ll sit it out. After a 1 hour and 40 minute wait all up my food was ready. Now I understand that it’s pretty tough to know exactly how busy a restaurant will be but this wait time is totally unacceptable. A bit of honesty upfront regarding the wait time could have stopped a lot of complaints and negativity from customers in the restaurant. The food wasn’t too bad, but unfortunately my experience with Chloe’s Photastic is filled with negativity..

Please be more honest to your customers in the future regarding the wait times... it will...

I ordered a beef pho today which tasted nothing like beef pho my wife didn’t even eat it, I ordered 2 grilled pork chop on rice cause it looked good in the review and got something totally different which tasted off and started feeling sick. The prawns spring rolls well you can’t even taste prawns or see it, we had to dissect it and then throw it away. The fish sauce my god fish sauce is my life but we were given something that was so watered down I might as well use tap water for dipping. If anyone is looking for a good pho/bun bo hue take some time and travel to pho hung vuong clayton or anywhere in Springvale, the food here is honestly weird. Won’t be coming back here again. At least the Positive side to this place is that you have fresh vegetables here… hope they’re are doing well and wish them the best of luck.

Like a few others I saw the mostly positive reviews and thought I'd give it a go, being that its local. Ordering was straight forward and staff are friendly. Fried Wontons were full of flavour and fresh. I ordered Pho with Beef Slices for main. The broth was delicious and also full of flavour with a generous serving size, but unfortunately it was not hot enough. This led to the beef not being able to be cooked enough and still raw at the end of my meal so unfortunately not a great experience. What really let me down was that my experience could have been turned around had someone had of come and followed up during my meal to see if there was any problems as once you order you dont see anyone and your meal is delivered by a robot. I'd like to think I'd go back but I think unlikely as I'd rather travel further to another in Bayswater and know what...
