Pizza Hut Croydon North — Restaurant in Melbourne

Unsure about food in general. Or cost. My review is solely about the wait time and service i have received being a door dash driver and an uber driver. I will speak of 2 times i have been there as they are very recent. As a door dash pick up- I waited 19mins for a $5 local job.. Should of been ready when I arrived and was told 5mins- only 1 large pizza. (No deal-/No garlic bread or drink). Took way too long, the staff were not up front about the wait time. They said 5mins when I first walked in and showed them my order pick up. Then they went to the back and there was no staff at the front at all. 2 other delivery drivers walked in, in that time and were not served at all! When they FINALLY made an appearance after 7mins had passed since they walked to the back after telling me 5mins, I asked again and they said 2 more minutes- assisted the other drivers and they were then also told 5 mins. Both of them!. They went to the back again. Couple more people walked in, waiting for orders. Not sure if they're online orders or normal pick ups. Time just kept dragging on. Until it got to 19mintues and they finally made another appearance and gave me the pizza. 1 large pizza at 10pm at night..and þhe finally served the other 2 people who walked in. The 3rd driver who walked in, had enough and left without being served. There were also a group of people who were waiting on their walk in/order, and I could hear them say its been half hour already and they hadn't got their food yet. Another 10mins past for them, and they finally got their food. 3 pizzas and 12 wings. Pathetic slow service really. 40mins aþ least, for that?

I used to work for 2 pizza joints. Separate times in the past. But, for both; Never once did a customer ever wait more than 20mins from the moment they ordered to them getting the food. That is taking order, preparing food, cooking, cutting. Boxing and handing the order to them! Even in peak times! For a pizza hut, this should be shut down; better managed or fire and hire new staff who know how to run a pizza joint!

I worked uber yesterday, and the order was 1 small pizza and 24 wings. When I arrived I was told 5mins. I was thinking, oh here we go again as past orders.. Yep! There were 2 staff i could see. No one being served. UNTIL their own delivery driver walked in and served a lovely women who was waiting a while to be served. Shè wanted a small pizza and they were out of ßmall pizza bases. She asked for a medium pizza and they don't do that. So she had to buy a large. At the very least, and the nicest thing this man did for her, was only charge her for a small pizza as it was on the company for bot having a small base available for her. That is ONLY thing I can say I've been happy whiteness here.

The order I was picking up was meant to be ready. I waited 17mins for my pick up. No "sorry about the wait" or any nice communication. Nothing. At any time I've waited so long for an order here. No time management and staff are very bad with communication and servicing people for their orders. This is the worst pizza hut I've ever picked up from. I recently visited Pizza Hut in Melbourne, and I had a fantastic time! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Amazing recovery from unfortunate circumstances by the team down at Croydon North piza Hut!!!. They had an uber driver sorting out there deliveries for the night and there Pizza Hut live tracking was having issues, We where paitently waiting for some sort of update for a few hours to find the driver had just left the food at the door with no attempt at comunication!, The guys down there where lovely and understanding on the phone, appologising and offering to re-deliver to make up for this, I couldnt be more happy with how this was handled 10/10 Customer service and i'll happily keep supporting this team of wonderful blokes far into the future...
