Pei Ho Chinese Food — Restaurant in Melbourne

I don’t generally leave reviews but I’ve seen the previous negative reviews and thought I’d share the experience of someone who has been eating here for 20+ years my family included, it may not be gourmet or overdone food court takeaway, but it is beautiful honest Chinese food with an amazing menu and even better owners! They are generous kind and make wonderful food. In my 20 years of eating here and most recently working close to here I eat their food almost everyday without issue and always amazing flavour, there has never been anything odd or un-fresh about their food, Myself and family have never gotten sick eating here. I was hoping to receive a fried rat like I would at KFC. However, I was served a satay vomit looking plate. I generally will visit the shops next to it. I see a man who looks like a Prison warden staring into my soul begging to give me food poisioning.

The same night we had fried rice which I put in the bin after the first bite. I was quite happy it killed all other insects/ants in and around the bin. A redeeming quality to be serving human pesticides enriched food. Honestly, I don't know how there can't be negative star ratings.

How is this place is open for business while serving up such rubbish? I think the only thing on the plate with flavour was the fried pork, and possibly only due to the stale oil it was cooked in 3 days previous. I suspect entire meal was microwaved.
