I am appalled at this places customer service. I ordered spaghetti carbonara and what I received was an extremely small plate of overly dry well overpriced food. I decided to try it and honestly it didn’t taste very nice at all. So I asked that it be taken back and that I didn’t want anything else. When it came time to pay the bill, they charged my partner for both his and my dishes, less a discount of $5.00. When I stated that this place would be receiving a 1 star review, and how dare they try and charge us for something I had one mouthful of, the guy called me childish and selfish, in front of other customers, when I said I’d NEVER be back, and I’ll tell everyone I know about the service we received, he decided to refund the price of my meal while still sprouting how childish I was. And unfortunately I really don’t feel well now. This service would never be tolerated in Lygon Street! Edit: you are such a rude arrogant man!! It shows in the answers to the reviews made about your business and EVERYONE will see it when they read your replies and witness it first hand if they are stupid enough to go to your restaurant. You DID NOT offer to make it differently that is a blatant lie! I didn’t put down anyone, I told the truth about the meal. You stated you’d made 2 more meals prior to mine, I’d say I received the leftovers of what had been cooked hours prior! And you know what I didn’t even add last night how soggy, underwhelming and overpriced my partners pizza was, but I will now! Second edit: he never said it was lovely, he wolfed it down because he was starving and as for bringing you the plate… don’t think you’re special mate, with over 30 years in hospitality, he does that with EVERY restaurant we go to! And he would like to add, that in this day and age, it’s so heartbreaking to see an owner acting the way you did to customers, it...

We recently celebrated our son’s confirmation at Classe 90, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the entire experience was. From the very first contact, Francesco was incredible to work with. His attention to detail and commitment to making sure everything went smoothly was evident from the start.

I had two guests with very specific food requests, and Francesco went above and beyond to accommodate them. The level of care and effort he put into ensuring everyone’s needs were met was truly appreciated. Not only were all special requests handled with ease, but the food itself was outstanding. Every dish was delicious, and no one was left hungry. It was clear that the team takes great pride in their work.

The atmosphere was perfect for our celebration, and the service was impeccable throughout the night. I highly recommend Classe 90 for any special occasion – they truly made our son’s confirmation a memorable event. Thank you, Francesco, and the entire team for making...

Francesco Stella. A failed football player with serious insecurities, who cannot take any sort of feedback if it doesn't pump up his ego. A boy so sensitive he will shout at a regular customer for merely requesting a pizza to be redone as it tasted like an ashtray. Did I mention, regular customers? Who order the same pizza? Every time? So much so the staff remember the order?

You ruined my wife's birthday, and your response is "that's not my problem". You're a sad little boy who thinks they were a super star. Reality check, you're flipping pizzas for a living .

You lost some local regulars tonight. You may not care right now, but maybe when you're struggling to make ends meet... nah probably not even then. I'm sure daddy will bail you out.

I'm not even going to read your response but I'm sure it will make you feel warm and fuzzy...

What an incredible place. I’ve been here twice and, as an italian, I can say that this is without a doubt the best Pizza I’ve ever had in Melbourne and the best I’ve tried in Australia since 2 years I‘ve in this Country. The dough is so soft and bubbly, light and easy to digest. It’s just so clear that there’s such a great passion behind these amazing pizzas!! We had different pizzas, such as the Tropea and Pistacchiella as well as Ratatuille and the most famous margherita. Also, we tried the pizzette fritte and arancini, just breathtaking. Please, if you want to do yourself a favour, just go at Classe90 and have a great dinner with Francesco and Sarah. Their food and their staff will make you feel happy and welcomed!

Stepped into the cozy suburban pizza haven, called Classe 90 Pizzeria .Where the air is filled with the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked dough and rich tomato sauce. Sounds of Italian talk from behind the bar, and Italian music gently fills any awkward silence. Warm, dim lighting, and clean styling decor combined with true classic-style Italian pizza, expertly crafted with a delightful blend of traditional flavors. They were reasonably sized and reasonably priced. The friendly staff added a personal touch to our dining experience, making each visit seem genuine and truly asking if there was anything else we needed , drinks, or dessert. A true surprise we will be back for sure.
