Craigieburn Sporting Club — Restaurant in Melbourne

Not great. Despite not being overly busy and only on a table of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids), 1 kids meal was forgotten. Asked the staff twice to follow up. Was told it was on its way the first time, the second time the staff member went to follow up but never came back. The third time I asked the Manager to follow it up. At this stage the other kids had finished their meals and the adults were nearly finished. Eventually, they put the order through again and offered a refund. I ended up cancelling the meal as it was too late and my child just wanted to play with her friends (who had already eaten). Top marks to the Manager who handed back the refund and then went on to advise that his kitchen had said they had 100% made the meal and it was delivered to our table. From the customer with the hungry child - 100% the meal did not arrive at our table, check your cameras, and your service leaves a lot to be desired. Your roast lamb was dry too. I'd honestly give it zero stars if I could. My wife had Fish and chips which was swimming in oil like the US was ready to invade, my lamb shanks were dry and more chewy than an old boot, and a friend ordered a beef schnitzel with chips and a salad, which we had asked not to have any olive oil with because she has an olive allergy. Her salad came out with a dressing that had an olive oil base, which had spilled onto the plate. When she tried to clear it off she got some on her finger and it immediately became itchy, red and swollen. When we spoke to the manager (Huss, the guy that looks like temu Vin Diesel) he was very rude, refused to give a refund at first and was antagonizing the issue, insisting it must be a medication that caused the allergic reaction to the one spot on her body the salad touched. Wouldn't eat here again if my life depended on it and will be making a complaint to the health...

Craigieburn Golf Course, I played today with a group of 20 friends, we took over 6 tee slots.

The proshop staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodated all our needs. And the staff in the restaurant and bar were amazingly helpful with signing in bar staff were great with service and drinks. 👏👏👏

The Weather was awesome but a bit windy.

The course was in pretty good condition for the very dry summer and autumn. This made the fairways firm and fast. This rewards great driving off the tee. Due to heat and dry conditions the greens and surrounds were soft under foot due to watering, but this is understandable. Greens played slightly slow but very good. Its a great value course and very enjoyable to play. I think this could be a hidden gem with value for money and facilities on site. I highly recommend to play...
