Lovely food no doubt about it. However the place turns into Theka Shraab Desi/Tavern at night time with deafening drunk crowd around. Not recommend with family at dinner time.
Response from the owner 5 hours ago Hey Kunal I am glad to hear you liked the food however we don’t really appreciate the wording you have used there as I would like to mention we are not a BYO restaurant therefore we strictly adhere to RSA rules therefore if someone is celebrating and enjoying their birthday which is their legal right I don’t understand why someone else should have an issue with that! Everyone is seated at there personal table and can do whatever they like. I guess it’s time to modernise the thoughts there. Also Desi shouldn’t be a word being used to describe someone as it can be really offensive just to consider in future!
My response to your response there:
Hey owner, please be advised that you are in Australia and not in Amritsar anymore. Here customers responses are taken seriously and are addressed in an appropriate manner. Your language you have used is clearly unprofessional. Everyone sitting at their tables and enjoying is one thing however when all your drunk crowd was moving around, standing and misbehaving with people around them. If it’s a private party then you should not allow other diners because your ambience is not big enough to host 100 people at once. Theka shraab desi is a regular term used in parts of India and I’m sure that you are aware of it.
You too need to modernise your model of operation and pull up your socks with regards to your customer service which is an...
Read moreWe live in Craigieburn and normally in weekdays or weekends we prefer to go some Indian restaurants for getting delicious food which remember the same taste of India. Last day me and my friend visited this place in the hope of getting same thing that we thought about the Indian restaurant but unfortunately we are not satisfied by your service of food that we order as but the boy who attends the customers in front desk who is standing in front reception he asked us to take table and then they provoke us that we are near to closing the restaurant and they are not ready to take our order according to us as we need our order in sequence but in the hurry of timing that was not happening because there was 2 hours left from closing but they are refusing us for our orders but after our order they provide us food but in the dish we are not getting the taste we have to get as we pay for food we have right to get delicious food but nobody’s care about the taste and they treat us as we are not paying them well and we guess they want that we leave as soon as possible all the above we can say that the food is not good and the service from staff is good but the boy who is always standing there he is not giving his 100%. I suggest to the owner if you want to run your restaurant in well mannered way please remove that boy from that position give him some work behind...
Read moreI visited here for a dine-in experience last week, and I must say that I was generally satisfied with the service provided. The food, on the whole, was quite good and offered good value for the money spent. However, I did encounter an issue with the plain rice I had ordered.
Upon receiving the plain rice, I noticed an unusual smell, which raised some concerns. I promptly brought this to the attention of the staff, who explained that it might be a result of the method used to cook the plain rice. While I understood their explanation, I couldn't help but wonder if the smell could have been due to the use of uncooked rice that had been stored for an extended period.
On a more positive note, the curry and nan that accompanied the meal were delightful. Nevertheless, based on my experience with the rice, I would advise against ordering any rice dishes from this establishment. In fact, I would recommend that the owner consider improving the quality of the rice used, as well as its texture. This small adjustment could significantly enhance the overall...
