the place gives off some Vietnamese coffee shop vibes and the people working there are great. but the food its... its different everyday. ive gotten the captains plate a few times and its always different. I don't know if its a different chef or if they don't have the time to perfect it but the captains plate would miss sometimes a tomato's or an egg or even some fried sourdough or even have an extra item. it still taste great but its definitely something you could whip up at home in one pan in 10-20 minutes of cooking. the only thing i would give 4-5 stars would be the iced coffee. perfect every time! although a bit over priced for a coffee same with the captains plate/big breakfast. to the owners and workers try making an ingredient list and photos of what the food should look every time. maybe even add some baked beans in with the...

The atmosphere of the cafe itself is well presented with an industrial vibe, and lots of seating, indoors and outdoors. The proximity to the school is convenient locals to get coffee after dropping of the kids.

Crest cafe is a trendy cafe hidden in the suburb of Wantirna. It has a rusty old outdated looking front but as soon as you walk in you know you found a gem. Inside was modern, clean, cozy and has a great ambiance with a cafe, kitchen, inside dining tables and also an outside dining area at the back. Crest cafe has a selected all day menu and they make great coffee using industry beans one of best Melbourne rosters. I ordered a Captains plate and my wife’s ordered Mojo Rojo one of many vegetarian options available. Captain’s plate was massive with two eggs, 3 pieces of sourdough bread, bacon, chorizo, roasted mushrooms, hash browns, grilled tomatoes and quarter of sukkah avocado.
