⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Williamstown’s Best Café — Incredible Food, Coffee & Service! ☕🍳 Let me just say it upfront — Crowded House Café isn’t just Williamstown’s best café, it’s arguably one of the best in the entire west. Muslim-owned and halal-friendly, yes — but what truly sets them apart is the unmatched service and genuine warmth you feel as soon as you walk in. Every single staff member is attentive, friendly, respectful, and professional. The energy here is just different — they take pride in what they do, and it shows in everything from the service to the food and coffee. Now onto the coffee — hands down the best in town, and I’m not even open to debate on that. Consistently rich, smooth, and made to perfection every single time. For food, we ordered the baked eggs and I had the scrambled eggs with avo, sujuk, and beef bacon — and let me tell you, this is how brunch should be done. The baked eggs were creamy, flavourful, and served bubbling hot with sourdough — absolutely divine. As for my plate, I can confidently say it was one of the best café breakfasts I’ve ever had. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and rich, the smashed avo added the perfect creamy touch, and the sujuk was crispy, salty, and bursting with flavour. The beef bacon tied everything together beautifully — all served on fresh sourdough that soaked up all that goodness. Portions are generous, flavours are on point, and the quality is consistent every time we visit. Whether it’s the food, the coffee, or the top-tier service — Crowded House delivers on all fronts. Giving credit where credit is due — much love to the entire team. Keep doing what you’re doing — you’ve earned every bit of this...
Read moreI’ve been waiting to go to this place because every time I stepped in the door and it was between 1-1.30 knowing they closed at three, they told me the kitchen was closed. It happened 3 times and I was starting to think they had my picture on a wall behind the counter saying don’t let her in. So when I finally lucked in on a day they were still open, I was disappointed that of the 4 of us, only one enjoyed their meal (grilled chicken salad I think). I was disappointed because I wanted the pancakes and they had run out…(because how do you run out of pancakes?!) and then I came to the shocking revelation that there was no bacon. At all. On the menu. Now I understand this is a normal situation in a halal restaurant, but to my knowledge, it’s not a halal restaurant, and if it is, then could you please make this a little more obvious so people who are struck down with their first world white guy problems like what to do when the restaurant is out of pancakes and HAS NO BACON know how to proceed. The other two I was with had eggs with stuff and found it all generally lacking and the bread too hard to cut with a butter knife and so ere sharing the knife that came with the chicken salad. The thing I looked up that led me to want to try it was the coffee review because I’m a snob of the highest order there but I’d already had 3 large latte’s before I got there and needed to cut myself off. It was just a big letdown that was really only saved by the nice outdoor area...
Read moreThe service was very poor. Some of the wait staff don’t demonstrate any care about their customers, especially when away from the eye of their Manager. I almost left on two occasions, with the first being the prolonged wait time to place my order (however I did manage to get the attention of a waiter at which time I checked orders already queued, explaining I was on a break from work and my need for a quick turnaround), then after the extended waiting time, after being advised otherwise. I could understand this situation if the cafe was busy, however it wasn’t. One waitress did nothing other than float around the venue and was very narky when I paid, no doubt because one of the other waitresses passed on my comments of very slow service to...
