Old Style Butchers Williamstown — Local services in Melbourne

I have been shopping here for over 10 years and thought it was time to leave a review to tell them (and everyone) just how wonderful they are. The meat is really top quality and they have went above and beyond to help me in my transition from American cuts (like a KC Strip) to Aussie lingo. They cut things to suit my needs (I would like a giant brisket please) and I have never been disappointed. Their ham is just the absolute best, so smokey and delicious and the marinades they use for lamb roast and the like make me look pretty good when I produce a delicious cut of meat with every meal. Oh, and M-F, they deliver...

OMG! Just tried a Wagyu porterhouse 10+ here. Only tried a single steak slice because it's bit pricey. But wow. OMG. Definitely one of the best steaks I've had in Melbourne (restaurant or home cooked). Marbling score was spot on. Price is reasonable for what it is (you get what you pay for). But needless to say, I've found my local butcher from hereon. Thank God the restrictions have lifted beyond 5kms. Worth the trip out to Williamstown for this shop alone....

Old Style Butchers provide wonderful service with unbelievably good meats. Their lamb back straps are beautiful, excellent quality with no wastage and great taste. We love their sausages which are great tasting and minimal fat. Love the fact they have a chart to explain what is in the different sausages, very useful for people with allergies. We ordered our Christmas meats from them and were very happy. Highly recommend this Butcher in Williamstown....
