Crawling spider found under strawberries in pancake dish for my 3 yr old. Told by owner that "stuff like this happens, it's no big deal"

My daughter and I wanted to start off Christmas by celebrating with a treat breakfast. My daughter's pancakes came out with beautiful presentation. I was cutting up my daughters food when she spotted a live spider crawling out (1cm by 2cms) from her strawberries. We both jumped up, our cutlery went all over the floor. The table next to us also jumped at my daughter's yelling about the spider. The plate had curled up round edges and there was no spider webs in the indoor seating area or under the table.

I gave the staff the plate and showed them the crawling spider. After coming to our table and apologizing, she then told us to go check her kitchen for spiders. I was shocked and responded I was scared of spiders and I was worried for my daughter's sake. I went on explaining that my daughter and I were celebrating the beginning of Christmas and we got dolled up for a nice breakfast. She responded by repeatedly telling me to ' go check the kitchen for cleanliness' and that "stuff like this happens, it's no big deal".

Once I informed the Male owner of the spider he took initiative. I explained that my 3 yr old wants to leave because she is scared there will be another spider in her new pancakes. He quickly reimbursed us for the pancakes and a cookie was offered. The female owner made sure to repeat herself before we left, "stuff like this happens, it's no big deal".

Ordered 40mins ago. One coffee came out 20mins in but no other drinks in the same order have been seen. Food is not even a consideration by the kitchen at this point it seems. Absolutely disgusting service.

One staff member in kitchen. One on break who was doing coffees. And one trying to take orders, make all other drinks and serve food. Manager needs to seriously hire more staff. 2 members at lunch when all tables are full (over 50 patrons) is a joke!

Update: 2 of 3 meals have shown up 50mins later. Both other drinks are now here too. Third meal??? Who knows

Lady in kitchen was working hard trying to pump out meals. Another lady was serving the till, taking out meals, clearing tables and making all the drinks (other than coffee) working super hard. However the lady "making coffees" has the art of makong it look like you are busy when you aren't down packed. Taking an abysmal amount of time to make a flat white, do multiple laps around the two dining areas looking for the table number and then strolling back to the coffee machine. Really not pulling her weight and making the other two girls pick up her slack.

Edit: oh of course she just started having a chat to a customer and laughing (obviously a friend) and just dinged the bell for one of the other girls to come and take out the food thats been sitting on the counter for a few minutes now. Sure maybe its a freakishly busy Tuesday lunch. But all staff should pull their weight and the manager could try and get...

So yesterday while visiting an unknown shopping centre I found a small shop didn't look like much but the food looked amazing! I ordered a big breakfast and a simple coffee but I got so much more than I expected! The coffee came out first and I thought great my coffee will cold before I get my food... I was pleasantly shocked when my food came out a few minutes later and it was nothing like I would expect for a coffee shop in the city. The plate was huge and food was loaded! Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was so amazing and friendly but it wasn't just that caught my eye. I saw a man and women who only spoke in sign and wondered how they were going to order I stood up about offer my assistance when the waiter that had also serviced tables began to right and sign as well! I found this amazing because a person who is mostly deaf it's were hard to order and it can be intimidating and thus man made so much of an experience.
