A friend and I tried Crispers tonight via Uber Eats for the first time. We got a boneless chicken serve with garlic soy, tteokkbokki with cheese, and a katsu curry. Everything was delicious! The tteokbokki was the nicest I’ve tried, and a decent size serve. A bit of spice to it but not enough to take away from the deliciousness. All others I’ve had elsewhere, the fish cakes tended to be overly fishy/salty and quite unpalatable. These were really nice! The chicken came hot and had a bit of crisp to it, and my friend loved her rice and katsu curry. I tried the curry sauce (which came separate so it wouldn’t get soggy) and it was very flavoursome. One little thing that might be even more amazing would be if there was provision online to get the sauce for the chicken on the side. There wasn’t quite enough and it might be nice to have some to dip in. I’m sure you could do it in store, but via Uber eats we didn’t see the option (but to be fair we did rush the order as it was 1 minute til closing time). The food came hot and very well packaged. Really satisfying meal, I would definitely order...
Read moreCame here today to have some of the fried chicken again. Last time was very good 👍 Today I was waiting at the counter on my own for about a minute which is OK but the problem began when a young couple turned up and the girl stands right next to me pulls out a $20 note and puts it on the counter. The lady working behind the counter knew I was there and she came over to the counter to serve and asked the girl what would they like to order? Unbelievable!! I interrupted both of them and said excuse me but I was here first. To the lady working there don't just guess and assume who was next. Ask who was first this is not good customer service pay attention next time. I was standing there on my own at the counter for a minute holding the menu in my hands how could you not see me? The young couple especially the girl very rude as I said that to her wait her turn i was here first. Your parents must be proud of you young lady. No manners whatsoever 👎 Walked away bought...
Read moreAwesome freshly cooked Korean food to order! Tucked away in the quiet far corner of the food court, this is without a doubt Waverley Gardens' best kept secret.. I'm surprised the shopping centre management isn't doing more to promote this gem of a place. My wife is a Korean food fan and has been eating there regularly. I was a bit put off by the name, because I'm not a big fan of crispy chicken. But I found out that they do freshly cooked beef and pork meals too. I finally tried it the other night. The chilli beef lunchbox meal is incredible. Wafer thin, tender strips of beef cooked in a really punchy, authentic chilli and kimchi sauce. Excellent value for $10 too. Can't wait to go back for more next...
