Food was good but what really makes the experience at Delhi Rocks so special, and inviting, is the fact that rotis are unlimited and offered free of cost with a tray* of 3 curries of our choice ( to be chosen from vegetarian and non- vegetarian options) which costs around 15 $. Chai ( india tea) is unlimited as well and refillable from the dedicated station. Highly recommended for families, couples and for people looking for a spot where good food , prompt service and reasonable pricing go hand in hand. Service: We were nicely served by Ankush Food we had: 1st tray* curries: saag (mustard greens), mixed veggies sabji ( curried veggies), saag goat ( goat meat in mustard green gravy) 2nd tray*: butter chicken, saag goat (see above description), chicken madras ( south Indian spicy hot chicken). *Trays are not for sharing

I used to go to this place long ago I have visited today and found that the service staff are good the tea is good. I have ordered 3 curry with unlimited roti. Malai kofta was not spicy. Butter chicken (top left) was too spicy and there was no flavour of butter it was good but the portion was very less. Goat curry I (top right) just got a one peace and unfortunately it was just bone attached with some fat. Roti was not bad I was so hungry but something stuck in my mouth and I saw that it was a small nail peice. I was shocked to see finger nail peice in my mouth. And some hair in the plastic plate. Over all if you don't mind hygiene it is good restaurant.

I went to Delhi Rocks after a long time yesterday. They have moved to a new location next to Dosa Hut. Delhi Rocks is an Indian restaurant providing tasty meals at an affordable price. To add some happiness, They are open till 2.30 am on Saturday night and 2 am on Friday night. I ordered Dal Makhni, Chole chana and Rice for my Dinner yesterday. Although the food was bit mild, I really enjoyed the food and would recommend anyone who likes to have indian food in Melbourne on King Street. They do serve Indian sweets and Masala Tea at the restaurant. The new restaurant location has more sitting space with modern ambience and the toilets are new too.

Edit1: Not sure if it's because of the time gap but for some reason, the food here tasted better than ever. Food quality was as usual, one of the best. Safety wise, the restaurant made all the necessary changes, including single use plates and cutlery for everyone to visit. Couldn't be more happier with the food. _____________________________________________ Past review: The best Indian restaurant in Melbourne CBD. Perfect for students and family. Food is really cheap and the quality is best here. I could say with my experience that DELHI ROCKS restaurant comes first in Indian cuisine followed by Dosa Hut and Nawabs restaurant in docklands.

(Sorry, picture was taken when I was eating my meal halfway, that’s why it looks like that) Ordered the Special Thali set. You get a choice of 3 different curries, rice + unlimited bread (roti), plus their chai tea for $15. It’s a good place for late dinner/ supper as it is open till midnight. Reasonable price. Come with your friends and compete to see how many roti you and your friends can eat lol. Unlimited roti aside, their curry is super yummy. They also put lots of tender meat into the curry and they are always mostly deboned. Love the goat (lamb?) curry, butter chicken and chicken curry. Would come again for a late midnight snack.

"The gastronomic delights are truly exceptional, with an innovative approach to service featuring both the traditional thali and à la carte options. The efficiency of the service is remarkable, exemplified by the prompt delivery of a thali boasting three delectable curries alongside unlimited roti for a mere $15. The entire dining experience, from entrance to departure, was completed within a swift 30-minute timeframe, with the total cost for two individuals amounting to a mere 30 Australian dollars. Such an extraordinary encounter warrants the highest recommendation, particularly for those exploring the culinary landscape of Melbourne."
