After polishing off my meal, I couldn't help but marvel at the culinary fusion that occurred when Chinese cuisine made its way to Australia. The Peking duck pancake surpassed any I have previously tasted, with a delightful touch of melon that elevated it to an elite status, setting it apart from any other rendition I've experienced. The addition of melon as an accompaniment was truly a stroke of genius.

I also indulged in the crispy pork with white vinegar sauce, which delivered a delightful, albeit sweet, flavor profile. However, when paired with the perfectly seasoned Yangzhou fried rice, the perfect balance of saltiness cut through the sweetness, creating a match made in culinary heaven.

The staff's warm and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience, and the cleanliness of the restaurant further enhanced the overall ambiance. Went there for a dinner with collaborators on the trip to Australia (Friday night). We were lucky to get one of the last tables without any booking. Place was full with well off Asian families enjoying thir food - always a good sign. I had some concerns about reviews posted several months ago about too long a wait for the food, yet food was on our table quickly and it was amazing! Large portion sizes to satisfy hungry young guys. My favourite is eggplant in garlic sauce in the clay pot. Braised pork was apparently very good too (almost too good to share 😋😂). Good attention by the service staff, polite, timely and caring. Located on a strip of shop houses on Stephenson's Rd. Park at the Woolies next door and walk over to the restaurant. There are plenty of car parks here. We ordered the Peking duck, which comes with duck bone soup, fried bean sprouts with duck meat, and duck meat for the wrap. We ordered the red braised pork belly and claypot egg plant. All dishes were decent in size and nicely presented. The duck was sliced thinly, and the wrap was nice and soft. The soup was pleasantly tasty. The braised pork was tender and goes well with plenty of white rice. Egg plant was another highlight - tasty and flavoursome. Bookings are recommended as it gets busy later...
