Live up to their name... Would NOT recommend. Awful service, average pizza, I waited for 3hrs and they were super rude and disorganised. The 1 star is for the decent GF bases that don't taste awful, and garlic bread that has actual garlic in it. Otherwise it'd be 0 stars... I ordered my pizza at 8:20 and was told it'd arrive in 40 minutes. At 10pm, I called to ask politely where my pizza was, and the girl on the phone told me it was "on the way". (I live 3-5min drive from the store).
At 10:17 I received a call from the store but she said "Sorry, wrong number." At 10:24 I called again to ask where my pizza was, it now being 3hrs since I ordered... At this point I was told that the delivery driver had been to my house 3 times, and that they had called me 3 times... I had been right by the door the whole time and neither I nor my housemate had heard any knocks or doorbell rings.
I double checked my number and address with them, they apparently had the right details. I told her that no one had come to the house, she insisted they had. She begrudgingly said they would cook my pizza again and I would receive it in 30min. I asked if I could have a discount, I heard her checking with someone I presume was her supervisor, then she came back and said no, because their driver had "spent an hour going back and forth" to my house. Again I insisted that I had been right by the door the entire time and had heard no knocks or bell rings, they must have gone to the wrong house. She still refused to give me a discount (offered me a free drink initially, but I didn't want a drink). So I said fine, told her to tell the driver it's a GREEN house, and if it's not green they're not at the right house... and waited for the 30min to be up so I could finally eat.
My pizza arrived at 11:50pm, 3.5hrs after I had ordered. Instead of a knock or doorbell ring, the driver called me. I asked why he didn't ring the bell or knock and he said because it was "dark" outside. (It was definitely not too dark to see where the bloody door was to knock on it). I asked him whether this was the house he'd come to before, but he said it wasn't him who had done the other attempted deliveries. I went to hand him my card, and he told me it was cash only. NO ONE HAD TOLD ME ON THE PHONE THAT IT WOULD BE CASH ONLY. I asked if he had change for a $50, and he said no. WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS CASH ONLY AND THEN DOESN'T CARRY CHANGE.?!? I told him I only had a $50 or $15 (my order was $20.50) so I can give him $15 for my pizza that I'd been waiting 3.5hrs for... he finally took out his personal wallet and gave me change for my $50.
Finally I ate my pizza. It was bad, but I put Siracha all over it to make it better. Not the worst garlic bread I've ever had but I wouldn't pay for it again. And I will NEVER order from Dicey's again, that is for sure. BLOODY RIDICULOUS, totally...
Read moreDICEY is correct! One star because I couldn't give no stars. I ordered 2 pasta dishes, and the gnocchi tasted like the gnocchi one buys at a supermarket on the shelf -sour taste- and OMG, the other pasta was meant to have been matriciana but it looked salivary or gluey and had uncooked whole white mushrooms -I hate mushrooms- and uncooked tomato pieces -it went straight into the bin. Then we get to the desserts (2 of each); instead of chocolate mud, I was given chocolate mousse (and when I ate it the next day I had to throw it straight into the bin after a few spoonfuls, because it was off -sour- and hard in places, as though it had been sitting in the freezer for ages), and the other dessert was cheese cake but not cheese cake rather a tiny tub of frozen something? I'm a person of integrity, and this has to be THE WORST FOOD I have seen /tasted in a long time -AND 55 dollars in the bin. If I get food poisoning and spend all day on the porcelain bowl, I'll drop off a sample, DICEY, and you can put it on your pizza or in the pasta -no one will know the difference. Person from the actual take-away place delivered the food, and to him (or whoever cooked /served this up): You bstrd. Gordon Ramsay would have a...

The shop has plenty of seating with a large screen TV for watching whist you wait and eat.
The pizza I ordered was a chicken teriyaki, with added olives. The crust was firm but not hard and the ingredients fresh. Chicken was fresh “not frozen”, and when I asked about the chicken I was told they hand prepared their chicken.
