Dingley Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

After spending $70 dollars on an order for my family I’m very disappointed.

I understand Uber eats drivers might run late. But the way you let that fish head out the door was horrible.

I ordered x3 pieces of flake plus some other bits for the kids.

The fried piece had obviously been refried quickly to heat it up. It was the size of my leg with batter not to mention hard as a rock! Couldn’t be eaten.

The grilled piece was so small. That’s not a 12 dollar piece of fish. Not to mention hard, dried out. Almost like leather.

The bread crumbed piece was ok. My son enjoyed it.

I have ordered from here before. Normally ok. But todays effort wasn’t fair. Take away is so expensive now. A treat for a lot of people. You don’t have the right to send out shit food like that. Fish and chips isn’t a cheap meal anymore. It needs to be treated as such from...

I ordered $47 worth of “food” from this place today 08/12.

I got my food after 30min wait, after saying 10 minutes on the phone.

Once receiving the food I drove home to find the flake was missing, I called and they apologised and said it would only be 5 minutes.

After getting to the shop, I waited 15-20 further minutes to then be told, that it was on the counter waiting for me that whole time. When I got home, the fish was soggy and non existent.

I don’t recommend this place or “food establishment” for anyone who wants good food with good customer service. It’s simply the bipolar...

Waited for more than 1 hour last Wednesday evening 18 February 2015 and after (2) attempts finally managed to get the order correct.

The worrying thing is the staff member couldn't care less, and I wasn't the only customer with complaints, overcharging, incorrect amount of change returned, salt added when specifically asked for meal without salt.

When I arrived home and un-wrapped the meal it looked disgusting. The batter wasn't cooked properly and not the fish I ordered.
