Padre Pizzeria — Restaurant in Melbourne

I recently ordered the mushroom pizza and the Mushroom Alla Panna with chicken. The pizza was decent; the toppings were generous, and they followed my editing requests perfectly. However, I was really disappointed with the Mushroom Alla Panna.

For a nearly $24 pasta dish, all I really received was sauce and spaghetti, which you can see in the photos. I added chicken for an extra $3, but I expected more than the 4-5 tiny pieces I got, which were about the size of half my pinky finger. At first glance, the mushrooms, which should have been the star of the dish, were nearly invisible. After searching through the pasta, I found a few pieces, but that was it.

The real kicker is the cost of the dish versus what I received. I can’t help but feel ripped off. If the cream sauce had an amazing flavor, it might have redeemed the dish, but the mushroom flavor was lacking. The pasta was meant to be a shared dish, but it was hard to share between people.

‼️👎👎👎I had a deeply disheartening experience at this restaurant yesterday night (27th), and I feel truly saddened by the way I was treated. Unfortunately, the customer service was shockingly poor, leaving me feeling upset and unwelcome.

One of the staff members, who was working at the time, was incredibly unkind, speaking to customers in a harsh and disrespectful manner even raising her voice, which made the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable.❌

I left the place feeling disappointed and discouraged, as no customer should be made to feel this way. I’m not sure if this individual is the owner or an employee, but either way, kindness, patience, and basic respect are essential qualities in customer service.

I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and encourages staff to treat every customer with care and compassion. As of now, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, even if the food were free, because a negative experience like this can truly ruin a meal.👎👎👎

Disappointing Experience - Poor Service and Food*

I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed with the service and food quality. The staff seemed disorganized,rude and inattentive, taking excessively long to take orders and forgetting one of our appetizers.

The pizza arrived overcooked, with a soggy crust and lacking flavor. Toppings were unevenly distributed, and the cheese was congealed in some areas. The sides were lukewarm and uninspiring.

For the prices charged, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed to deliver on both counts.
