This all you can eat restaurant is known for their variety of skewers and grilled meats, tasty alcohol selection and live entertainment. We had their —
▪️ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET — $58 per person ▪️ WINTER MARGARITA — white tequila, pink grapefruit juice with lime juice ($22) ▪️MELON WONDERLAND — midori, peach schnapps with lemon juice and lemonade ($22)
You pick your own ingredients and grill it yourself at the station situated on your own table- and be careful not to under and overcook it 🤭 The skewers rotate automatically (make sure to clip it in correctly to ensure it actually rotates… we may or may not have burnt some of ours bc we didn’t do this LOL) and their staff will come around to fill in the charcoal to ensure your meats are nice and hot! They’ve got a selection of wagyu skewers, seafood, vegetables as well as warm and cold dishes. There’s also a sauce station at your table and I would recommend dipping your meats in this- was so good! I really liked the marination of some of the meats, so tasty and flavourful.
Their drinks were so tasty, and not too strong either. I personally really liked the vibes of the restaurant, I thought it was really fun and vibey with the DJ playing the whole night and coloured lights flashing occasionally, really elevated the atmosphere and mood!
I think you love your meats and can eat a lot of skewers and wagyu- this spot is for you! Otherwise it’s a little expensive if you’ve got some dietary requirements (not a lot of vegetarian/ pescatarian options to justify the cost) but otherwise the quality of food isn’t too bad (not amazing but good for buffet quality) with a great environment and friendly staff! We had such great service throughout the night and felt incredibly welcome, and...
Read moreDiscovery Fusion BBQ is a hidden gem that delivers both flavour and fun in equal measure. Tucked away above an Asian grocery supermarket, it’s easy to miss from the street — but once you find it, you’ll be glad you did. Just head up the stairs or lift and you’ll walk into a warm, bustling restaurant filled with the mouthwatering aroma of sizzling skewers. Plus, there’s a massive carpark out front, so parking is a breeze — a huge bonus in Melbourne!
What makes this place really stand out is the rotating skewer grills at every table. Watching your food slowly spin and cook right in front of you adds an interactive twist that makes dining here so much more engaging. It’s the kind of place that sparks conversation and makes every meal feel like an event — perfect for group dinners or something a bit more fun and memorable.
The absolute star of the show was the lamb skewers. Tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned, they had just the right amount of char and spice. We ended up ordering multiple rounds because they were so addictive. The rotation helps cook them perfectly on all sides, keeping them juicy on the inside with a light crisp on the outside. The beef and chicken skewers were also great, but the lamb truly stole the spotlight.
There’s a solid variety on the menu beyond lamb, including seafood, vegetables, and tasty dipping sauces to elevate everything. The staff were friendly and attentive, always happy to help explain the menu or suggest favourites. It’s also super convenient that you can grab some groceries downstairs after your meal if you’re making a...
Read moreLocated just at the corner of Burwood One on Burwood Highway and Blackburn Road, Discovery Fusion BBQ Buffet is an all-you-can-eat bbq buffet restaurant, mixing Chinese skewered meat and Korean BBQ.
This was my second time dining here, having been only once and this time it was much better than my first visit last year. Came last night for a birthday dinner at 7:30PM with a booking that I made online which was seamless and the service was fantastic in that the staff were friendly and attentive in cooking our meat and changing grills and charcoal when required. The atmosphere is interesting in that the restaurant is also pretty much a nightclub although there was no DJ on my visit.
For $58 per person, 25% off if you come after 9PM, you get to feast on an excellent variety of wagyu meat, lamb, seafood and cooked food and this restaurant also known for its unique self-rotating skewers where you place your skewered meat onto the tracks and the machine does the rest of the cooking, rotating them back and forth. Do note though that if you pick any food that is on a wooden skewer, you will have to have those sent to the kitchen, where the chefs there will cook your food and serve them at your table.
Only negatives I have are the lighting on the table may not be that good depending on where you're sitting as I wasn't near the light on my table, the dessert range can offer more as it is only slices of various cakes and marshmallows.
Overall a much better experience and a restaurant that you definitely have to try...
