District 35 — Restaurant in Melbourne

After experiencing Jimmy's great service, food and chique atmosphere at his other restaurant, we were keen to check out District 35. We were absolutely not disappointed. We were welcomed in to a beautifully renovated establishment with a fantastic menu selection, charming, relaxing decor and outstanding food and coffee. We had the chicken burger, home made raspberry bread, chocolate croissant and Code Black cappacinos. We rolled out of there completely satisfied. Jimmy you have done it again. We can't wait to keep popping in for a visit, to keep trying out your menu and first class food. We looked forward to our visit based on the reviews and photos online. Unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. I ordered a large hot latte and received a lukewarm latte. I only managed to eat a quarter of my chicken burger. I gave up as the chicken was very dry and appeared overcooked. I advised our waitress why my meal was uneaten and she said she would tell the chef. When it came to pay, the problem with the chicken was mentioned. Such a wonderful and vibrant cafe, cannot recommend it enough! I've visited twice and am already planning my next visit. The staff are all welcoming and kind. The food is an amazing authentic blend of Middle Eastern cuisine - I recommend the Turkish Eggs. It's also such a treat to find a place that makes delicious chai.

Sit inside and enjoy nicely spread out tables so you can enjoy a conversation with your friends or outside and watch your little ones play at the park right next door - either way I'm sure you'll have a great time at...
