REVIEW: Let's talk about the food first! 💛 We all loved GG's garlic bread. Go all out and get that extra cheese. It's decadent, gooey, and warms your soul. ⭐ I tried Good Gnocchi years ago, back when they had a store in Melbourne CBD briefly down a quiet shopping centre. There, I fell in love with the 🧡 Pumpkin butter sage gnocchi 🧡 with its pillowy soft texture, encased with a slightly crisp shell from the heat of the pan fry. Pumpkin butter sage is light and something I could finish by myself. It still holds the reins as the king. 👑 My friends really liked the Wagyu bolognese for its heartiness, and the Rigatoni alla vodka.
➖ The slow cooked beef cheek ragu had some fatty parts that melted in your mouth, but fell short because it wasn't completely warm when we had our first bite. Slightly cool, winter hits quick! 🤎 Tiramisu was a great way to finish. In a dish that was thankfully a little shallow (we were full), its sweetness and creaminess really satisfied our sweet tooth.

Yummmm, yummmm, yummmm.
Prices are very reasonable! Quality of food, impeccable and service friendly!
We will be back!!!
We had dinner here last night, upon recommendations from several friends.
We were greeted with a warm welcome - our table host Laura was particularly AWSOME, however, the other staff too, were very tentive and approachable, checking in on us.
Every was fantastic!
No pressure to be fast and order, or wait super long for any orders. - that's magic when dining out.
The team seemed to be really happy and smiling (that's a sign of a good work place)
It was a Wednesday night and busy!! - thats evidence of its own that its a popular place!
The kitchen, was a 3 person team! My jaw dropped as to how only 3 of them were pumping out such AMAZING food!!!
The quality, and yum yum, with everything we ordered.
4 of us shared entree:
1 x HOUSE FOCCACIA w stracciatella 2 x TRUFFLED CACIO E PEPE CROQUETTES
Each had a main.
For dessert shared:
1 x GG’S TIRAMISU (it's HUGE! and our highlight - soooooo good)
1 x Cannoli
Portions are generous and delicious.
We all walked out, well fed... and booked, again in 2 weeks

Read moreI liked the atmosphere but felt that the food portions didn’t fill me up. Also reading some of Good Gnocchi’s responses to other customer reviews, I’m noticing that GG’s replies are quite disrespectful and unhelpful, and some of them feel pretty mean! Instead of seeking to address valid customer concerns and their negative experiences, Good Gnocchi (or whoever is managing their Google review replies) seems to assume they are nothing but “haters”. There is an unsettling overconfidence and “don’t crimp my style” attitude that I’m sensing. I understand, as a small business owner myself, the challenges and hard work of putting yourself out there, but in all honesty, customer respect (I.e., human to human respect) should always come first. If you can’t even manage that, then how can you improve and say you truly care about a customer’s...
