I visited this restaurant last night with my sister and mother to celebrate Mother’s Day. While I understand the restaurant was busy due to the occasion, the experience we had was nothing short of appalling.

We were seated for a full 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us or took our order. Once our order was finally placed, we waited another 30 minutes - only for my mother’s meal to arrive, while my sister and I were left empty-handed. Assuming our dishes would follow shortly, we waited… and waited. Another 30 minutes went by with still no food or update.

My mother, kindly waited with her untouched meal, hoping we’d all be able to eat together. Eventually, we insisted she eat before it got cold, as there was no sign of our food. After a full hour of sitting there, I approached the staff at the counter and politely asked for an update. I also expressed how strange and inconsiderate it was that they served one meal without the others.

The waiter told me he would check with the kitchen. When he returned, I was shocked to hear that our meals were delayed because the kitchen was prioritising takeaway orders first. This was incredibly offensive. As seated, paying customers, we should be treated with the same level of respect and priority as delivery app users. It felt like the restaurant was more concerned about their online ratings than their in-house diners.

Worse still, throughout the entire ordeal, no one came to our table to communicate or apologize. The lack of basic courtesy and communication was unacceptable.

After waiting for over an hour, I returned to the counter and informed the waiter that we would just pay for my mother’s meal and leave. Shockingly, he told me we couldn’t do that because our meals had “already been prepared.” This was the final straw. The service was the worst I have ever experienced, and the staff’s attitude only made matters worse.

This was meant to be a special evening for our mum, and instead, it turned into a frustrating, disappointing, and frankly disrespectful experience. We will never...

Absolutely amazed by Dumpling Dynasty in Broadmeadows.

Tried them yesterday night for the first time - we ordered takeaway. Honey chicken with rice, stir-fried beef noodles with black pepper on a sizzling plate, and stir-fried Chinese broccoli with garlic.

The honey chicken—it was so CRISPY, like unbelievably crispy, even after the 20 min drive home. They packed the honey sauce in a separate container, so the chicken didn’t go soggy. By the time we sat down to eat, it was still crispy as heck and absolutely delicious.

The sizzling beef noodles were packed with flavour and beef was tender, and the Chinese broccoli was fresh, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned with garlic.

Another huge plus for me: they’re 100% halal, which makes it even better knowing I can enjoy authentic Chinese flavours with full peace of mind. My husband mentioned the man who served him was really nice too—friendly, respectful, and made the whole experience feel even more welcoming.

Honestly, they’ve just gained a loyal customer for life. Whenever we’re craving Chinese food, this is our go-to spot from now on. Thank you Dumpling Dynasty for making amazing food with...

My favourite new place in town! Food was absolutely sensational, the shrimp and chicken dumplings, the lamb skewers, the wontons, and the pecking duck was a unique experience to try too. Highly advise you add the chilli oil and soy sauce in the small bowl and mix, that was the ultimate dipping sauce! Only things I can critique is that some of the orders took too long to prepare and one of the dishes was completely forgotten so we just cancelled it (it was a soup). Also the quantity of the lamb skewers was tiny for 12 bucks (see picture, size of a skewer was approximately size of my index finger) whereas other restaurants may give one large skewer for 5 dollars which would be the size of two of these skewers, and the pecking duck was not cheap either! But happy we tried it. To be fair the dumpling quantity was good (16 dollars for 10). There are so many other items on the menu we wished to try, so much variety!Ambience is very nice and modern and the location was close to the parking in the mall, around the cinema. Definitely will be coming back with the...

The restaurant is busy so reservations are recommended. The dumplings were good and the Mongolian beef was also nice. Everything else was okay. The food wasn't bad but there are definitely places that makes these better. Most of the staff is really nice and accommodating. However, some staff members do have some trouble with communication. They got our order wrong and we spoke to one of the staff members about it. In the end, the lady who had taken our order came to our table and kept saying this is what you wanted and we told her we had asked about the dish but we had not asked for it. And she said that the way we asked about the dish made her feel like we wanted it. After a lot of back and forth we just ate the wrong order. In terms of aesthetics, the restaurant is very nice however some of the sofas/seats are stained They offer an all halal.
