Epping Plaza Hotel — Restaurant in Melbourne

We have recently been to EPH, we hadn’t been in years… food was delicious 😋 1st time I had the chicken burger 10/10, and last Thursday we had the fisherman’s basket special, it all tasted good but looked like it has just been thrown on the plate- presentation is everything..room for improvement in the kitchen. Played the pokies, however one lady who apparently couldn’t understand me ( no English) was playing at least 4 machines - I asked her if I could play one as the venue was busy but she told me “I only play one” and clearly she wasn’t! I addressed this with a female staff member who did go and speak with her, however she wasn’t made to give up any of her four machines, I approached a different staff member who told me they can’t stop them… why can’t you?? And the banging on the machines and staff just walk past and ignore it. I believe staff need to be paying more attention and less time chatting together.. One working, unsure of his name.. he was a star, working everywhere, rushed but still very polite,...

The food was really nice really enjoyed it… Have been coming to this place from long time… On Wednesday, The 2 boys were really nice and sweet while serving a dinner..liked their friendly attitude…. But after finishing the dinner while playing pokies, the orange hair employee she was on something?? I feel like she is a hunter.. every single time she keeps on talking.. doesn’t she has anything to do while other are getting busy at work.. she watches who is winning or playing..talking nonstop mate do some work.. give some privacy.. if we need help I will let the staff know even other customer is complaining that she walks around and looking for chance to talk and grab a TIP.. we came there to enjoy mate..stop trying to be flirty..my friend told me about her last time I didn’t believe now I’ve experienced it..Managers please this...

That night manager very rude,was going to call during the day and complain to the main owner but I don't won't to waste my phone credits,if I order a glass of wine and it's foul because the last drops been how long sitting there,bar staff didn't want to open a new bottle of Chianti...wanted to mix the old one with a new one....as I explained to him,didn't understand and calls security to kick me out...I'll make sure majority of the Macedonian community to stay away from this place....it only caters for a few Arabs ...not even the Asians want to play pokies there....I'm sure profits are going down hill and I call to the health department on hygiene especially the night manager B.O walking around seeing who has won on the pokies, so he can get a...
