Fairfield Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

Really unfortunate experience. My partner and I moved to the area recently and have been looking for a good pizza place. Other places locally have disappointed for either value for money, service or quality so we gave these guys a go. The order process was easy and the price point was exactly what we were looking for. Ordered pick up to save on delivery and everything was going well. Sadly, when I went to pick up, none of the three staff on duty were wearing masks over their faces and all had them under their chins. Especially disappointing because the food is good quality, the price point is spot on and order was timely. This is going to come down to personal preference and community standards. This store unfortunately didn't set the example for our community which I'd have hoped for. Not everyone will agree and I respect your choice. For me, and many others in the community, when we're in our 6th lockdown which impacts everyone's quality of life and livelihood, to decide that the rules don't apply to you as your business stays open while so many others stay shut screams of arrogance and entitlement and a disregard for your patrons and community. As representatives of the community you set the example others follow and these employees have made their choice on the example they wish to set.

Good pizza, okay service, poor sense...

What a mistake i made the taste was mouldy on the pizza and garlic bread did have mould Over looked to mention my girl friend had the pasta it was very dry A can of cat food would have better taste Never again better down the road near fairfeild rail station at least we were able to sit and relax and have a good meal in a nice surounding

I never knew that my friends tried their pizza and when they told me that they ordered the deal large and drink and garlic bread they mentioned it was like eatting from a toilet . I've tried a couple times & haven't been disappointed.

Their pizzas have been the same throughout the orders, there is adequate toppings on the base pizza if not enough next time add extra IF required or customize to your taste.

Found the 2x guys friendly, welcoming & even suggested ordering in a deal to same me money.

Found they are using gloves when preparing food & when dealing with a customer remove those glove for a new pair.

Also good to know they have an EFTPOS machine in the shop, saving you having to go across the road & getting charged extra to withdraw money from the ATM.

Their pickup specials don't seem to include a drink, so make sure you order one...
