DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. GO TO THE ONE IN CRAIGIEBURN CENTRAL. I am writing this review due to the fact the quality of the cakes in this store has gone down since new management. After a while I thought I'd try a 2nd time and today I brought a French vanilla slice to have at home. Unfortunately when I got home and went to eat my slice , it was stale, and had to put it straight into the bin.I would have returned it but unfortunately I didn't have the time. I usually buy French vanilla slice at Ferguson Plarres at Craigieburn Central and their pastry on the French vanilla is flaky but this was at least 2 days old soggy and yuk. Just because its a takeaway cake doesn't mean you put the stale one in the bag. The girls were pleasant, but I wish the slice was edible and not wasted my money. My advise to management, if you plan on selling old stale slices/cakes or any food for that matter as takeaways you should note it to your customer. If your business isn't going so well due to drop in sales then maybe you need to stop selling stale products thinking you can make money like that. I would have returned it but unfortunately didn't have the time. Please don't serve stale cakes/food to people as you don't know who is going to consume it. As it has dairy in it, you are putting vunerable people at risk.. I will also be contacting Ferguson Plarre's main office...
Read moreSo rude!!! I just walked out, late in the day. I wanted to buy a couple of the small pies, a coffee & some desserts. I asked what type of pies there are he huffed and said all types tell me which oned bearing in mind the labels don't match the pie. I said I want to buy two not sure , which ones & I asked the flavours. He said they're all meat. I asked beef? He huffed different types of meat. I asked which of the labels he had. He slammed the register shut and came around the countery yelling at me that they're all dodifferent beef flavours. I couldn't leave fast enough, I have never experienced anything like it before. I come here once a month I refuse to be treated that way and advise others...
Read moreI recently visited this place with a friend and had an uncomfortable experience. We voluntarily chose to sit in the outdoor area, but the staff insisted that sitting there meant we had to smoke, even though neither of us are smokers. My friend, who is a regular customer and white, has never been told this before, which made the situation feel unfair, especially as it was my first time visiting and I am Asian.
I’m not accusing the staff of direct discrimination, but the inconsistency in treatment was frustrating and left us with a bad impression. I hope the management reconsiders such policies and ensures all customers are treated fairly.
I'll never come...
