Ferguson Plarre's Bakehouse - Karingal Hub — Restaurant in Melbourne

I have been buying special cakes for our last five special occasions. They outdo the Cheesecake shop 1000 %. Don't be balked by the prices because the value and quality is there. The service everytime has been incredible considering how busy these guys get and I would highly recommend their pastries as well. The big variety of pies and sausage rolls are lovely. I can't understand how people whine about such a small busy little outlet not meeting there expectations with a silly coffee. Go to a coffee shop you millennials are never happy and so I don't have to wait in line go to 711. Yes they are busy. Thats a good sign. They do their best to accommodate and I would recommend their lovely cakes and pastries and I've spent over $400 and never ever been let down with any purchase from Chocolate Cheesecake to Chocolate Drip Cakes to the Chocolate Mousse cake which went down a treat for mums 77th. I purchased the Chocolate cheesecake for my Dad's 80th. Absolutely incredible. Decadent. The ladies that served me were very kind and patient as I had a bit of trouble with my card. I have had Fergusons cakes and baked goods before My mum's 70th I purchased a flourless mud drip cake. That too was incredible. The quality, presentation and sheer choice of cakes is out of this world. The cheese cake shop doesn't hold a candle to any thing you can purchase through Ferguson's bakehouse. I also bought Angus pies, sausage rolls and pasties and every one was most impressed. I would recommend Ferguson's Bakehouse Plarre 🧁 above any other bakery in Victoria..Do yourself a favour. Thanks to the girls at Karingal Hub for making my Dad's 80th birthday really special. I wish this could be 5 stars. It's been a few years since I've been able to have a Ferguson Plarre sausage roll from Queen Vic Market where they are simply the best sausage roll ever (and the other stuff's not too bad either!). Since I'm not working up that way anymore I've had them from other Ferguson Plarres. Very good, certainly better than the rest, and a reminder of just how good Queen Vic ones are. But not Karingal. I stopped having one early cos it really is like they're yesterday’s making a reappearance. But at 12:30 today it was like chewing cardboard. Taking such a great product and turning it into an also ran. The warmer was full of them so they’re keeping them in there far too long and starting work on tomorrow’s leftovers to disappoint someone else. And as has been mentioned earlier the service is hit and miss. So...
