Very disappointed in my experience at rosa. Came for dinner with my partner we ordered 2 meals. My meal was out after 10- 15 max, however after having waited an additional 30 minutes for my partners meal we were met by a waiter asking if I was finished with my food, having waited for his food to arrive before finishing mine I politely said no. An additional 10 minutes go by and we had a waiter come up to our table to ask if everything was okay, I then informed the waiter we had been waiting 40 minutes for his meal. She then went off to see what had happened. All was well and good until a few minutes later we were met yet again by another waiter who informed us if we wanted to order anything we must do so as the were closing soon. (This being around 8:20pm when they close at 9pm) my partner received his burrito not long after this and felt very rushed to finish his food and leave. After he rushed to finish his meal he then tapped his card (being charged full price) a message in-regards to a surcharge appeared. We were not informed of this nor was there an indication to suggest there would be one. the cashier then turned the device towards herself and pressed yes to the surcharge without consulting him. Came here for dinner on Thursday 24/3 with a group of friends. We were greeted and seated by staff.

Upon sitting the waitress asked if we wanted drinks to start off with. One of my friends wanted to sub out the tequila in the margaritas to the mezcal tequila, which the staff were happy to do. They happily accommodated our request. I ended up getting the coconut paradise mocktail which was nice, sweet and coconutty. The drinks came out fast.

To which we ordered entrees, I got the street style corn which was very juicy and tasty. It corn itself had a very nice char to it, which added to the flavour of the corn. All the flavours of the cheese, chipotle aioli worked with the corn.

For mains I got the pulled beef chimichanga, which was great. It was very meaty, cheesy and filling. Just what I wanted. The the pico de gallo on the side was fresh and had a little kick to it.

For dessert I got the hot house made churros, they were sweet, crispy and soft on the inside.

The food and service is exceptional here. Staff were very attentive, always checking in with us, making sure our food was good, offering us more drinks and they were patient when we were ordering. I would come back here just for the service alone. But I definitely recommend Rosa...

I ordered online for pick up - it was literally ready in 5 minutes! Got a burrito with pulled pork and nachos. The nachos looked and tasted awesome (forgot to take photo). They had a great amount of toppings compared to other places. Every corn chip was able to have some topping! The burrito... was the girthiest of girthy burritos I have ever come across. It was really tasty too! I also got extra cheese and sour cream. I selected this with the burrito and thought it would be added into the burrito, which is what I wanted, but they came in separate containers... not a huge deal though. There is an option to add extra meat, but you definitely don't need to. They already add heaps of meat. I feel like it was quite expensive but when you look at the portion sizes and flavour, it's worth it. I got 6 meals out of the burrito and nachos. I haven't tried the kids menu as kids options are usually plain but I'd love if there could be some sort of mini menu or smaller portions.
