Footsie's Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

A Wednesday night, just after 8pm - ringing, ringing, ringing .. both the mobile no and the landline - no answer. I live 2mins away, so I drive there. I ask what is the issue with the phones - I'm told 'we're out of dough'. I say, couldnt you have at least picked up the phones to tell customers that same thing. I was asked 'what do you want me to do'. I said, just what I asked. Answer your phones. Its business. Its your business. Fkn lost me as a customer. That's NOT BUSINESS. That's not respecting your customers.

All is good with these guys as long as they're pulling in the good reviews.

Proof is in the pudding when things go awry.

True, respectful business owners will bend over backwards to communicate with their customers, especially in times of unforseen duress. The least they will do is answer their phones in order to explain the halt in service.

Fratelli's is good, Fratelli's on Cranbourne Road. In fact it's a notch and a half above these guys. Their bases are superb! I've never encountered a time whereby they don't answer their phones.

In light of the owners response to this complaint, and in response to him/her, perhaps instead of immersing yourself in google reviews, you could better spend your time training your staff in the art of effective communication. Ignorant and disinterested staff is not appealing to customers and isn't conducive to great...

I felt i should update my review for the 3rd time. I have been a happy customer for nearly a decade and have tried a lot of other pizza joints, but i'm happy to say Footsies keep delivering. This pizza joint is a local treasure, my reviews have been at least 2 years apart and Footsies just gets better. The manager and staff are friendly and invested in delivering quality food at a reasonable price. The pizza is consistently great with fresh quality ingredients and generous servings. My personal favourites are the satay or bbq chicken, bbq beef (really good!) and the Lot. I recently tried the chicken parma and not only is it amazing for a pizza joint but it's great value and the chips are really yummy too. Honestly, it's really good. I wish this place and it's staff all the best as i have only ever received the best from them over the many years i have been ordering. If you can find a better pizza it won't be in Frankston. Since moving to Frankston 7 years ago, there is no doubt that Footsie's are the best place to go for pizzas and pastas! Not only is the food amazing, but the service is the best I've EVER received!

On one occasion when picking up my pizza, the boys noticed that the pizza was slightly soggy, so they said if I could wait for five minutes, they'd make me a new one. Even after I insisted that pizza looked great, they still wanted to strive for the best and make me a new one. Five minutes later, the pizza was ready and then they gave me the new pizza PLUS the original one AND a dessert for my troubles! I insisted to pay for the second pizza, but wouldn't have a bar of it. The second pizza was absolutely amazing and we have left-overs for dinner the next night.

And this happened on our first order, and we have been going there 7 years since.
