I have been a loyal customer of BBQ House Bayswater ever since I moved into the area, and I must say, it never disappoints. Whenever I visit this restaurant, I always find myself ordering the same dish—the BBQ and Crispy Pork with Rice. It has become my absolute favourite, and for good reason.

The BBQ and Crispy Pork with Rice dish at BBQ House Bayswater is simply fantastic. The succulent barbecued meat, combined with the perfectly crispy pork, creates a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. The meat is tender and juicy, with a tantalizing smoky aroma that is hard to resist. The crispy pork adds a delightful crunch to each bite, creating a delightful textural contrast. As much as I love my go-to dish, I must admit that I am curious about the other offerings on their menu. The extensive menu at BBQ House Bayswater is filled with a wide variety of tantalizing options, and I hope to one day muster the courage to drag myself away from my favourite dish and try something new. The food wasn't the worst, but I wouldn't order it again. It was quite overpriced considering most petrol stations have better quality fare for a fraction of the cost.

The service was prompt to the point of feeling rushed, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Our main problem was the lack of cleanliness. The front windows should have been a giveaway. They looked like they had been washed with muddy water.

I didn't take a photo for the review as it would have been highly inappropriate, but the bathrooms were so dirty that I felt sick and afterwards couldn't enjoy the food, and had to stop eating, and leave.

There was urine pooled on the sticky floor, and it had run through all the grout between the tiles as well. The sink and taps and soap dispenser were wet and grey with milky dirty water. The toilet paper was on a giant roll; not in the empty dispener - but on top, where no one can use it in a sanitary manner. The walls were filthy and had pee splatters on them.

The toilet seat was covered in urine and had spots of faeces on the edges; and the inside of the bowl under the seat was absolutely covered in layers of caked on ancient poo. It was the dirtiest toilet I have ever seen in a facility that serves food.

I walked past the kitchen on my way back to the table and saw that it was also very dirty.

It seems that hygiene is very low on their list...

Edited: Came back for late lunch around 2 pm and they said they only have roast stuff left which was fine because I wanted to try their roast pork. It was quite nice and crispy, with nice sweet sauce they put all over the rice. The only thing I wished was more vegs on the plate because it was rather small amount compared to the meat. But good value lunch and pretty happy with quality.

Went at night for their roast stuff and unfortunately they ran out!! It was about 6pm so I was sad, but decided to try their other foods. Had their pork mandarin sauce which was really nice! Sauce was beautiful! Wish there are more of it! Tried their salted egg and preserved egg spinach because I never had something like that before. It was a very generous portion, but flavour wise, can’t taste much other than natural spinach flavour. When you have the broth (it is broth consistency) you can taste somewhat the salted egg flavour but not strong enough to taste when eating the spinach. I probably wouldnt order it again. Lastly, we had red bean pancake and asked for ice cream on the side. It was so yum! Perfect red bean pancake and ice cream was such a great combo.
