We used to live this place when we were locals. We were there today from Tarneit. Our table was booked for 8.30pm. Sadly we didn't get a table at 7.45 or 8 or 8.15 when we called at 7.30. That's still ok. We were seated at 8.30 on a large 6 seater when it was just the 3 of us. Husband and our 6 year old. The restaurant was exceptionally noisy today (never go in there to enjoy a glass of wine and food when you have a headache!). We were unfortunately sandwiched between 2 tables of 5 women each discussing pregnancy and men behaviours. Uhh! Imagine a fish market. The food arrived at 9.20. We had lost all appetite by then. Our 6 year was very happy until about 9pm when we ask where our food was and we were told another 5 minutes. We ordered Pad Thai and spicy rice. Pad Thai was exceptionally sweet.. our 6 year old said it was a sugar syrup. The noodles were like plastic. Rice was good. My wine tipped as the table was too big and we weren't quite in control of the landscape. The paper cover on the table kept moving. Tip to Fresh Chili: don't book back to back tables if you don't have enough staff in the kitchen. The lady apologised but offered an explanation that the staff is backed up in the kitchen. And for a 3 member family don't sit them on a 6 seater. And get rid of that Pad thai dish. It's the worst thing we have tasted in...
Read moreI have always enjoyed the food from these guys. It has always been perfect. I have no regret of going to this restaurant over and over again. They have always been great, from their staff, manager, food, facilities - everything there is well catered for. In terms of food, they have a wide variety - check their service catalogue/menu. The only issue I have is the space inside the restaurant. It can be a little squishy as they have placed a number of tables to accommodate a lot people. Although, it works out for them, it can be a bit of a bum to customers. Also they sometimes they have these time frame restrictions in place, which slight annoy a customer. But hey, they have the market because the food is absolutely good. One can pretty much customise whatever they order. This is not often the case with many Thai restaurants that I have visited. So to go all out and understand their customers and adjust to their respective requirements/requests is really satisfying. So, if you would want to try some excellent Thai food, no need to look elsewhere, you have these guys to satisfy your wants/cravings. Give them a call/ a try and am sure you will enjoy them. Try 2 or 3 dishes and taste for yourself. I have settled their noddles "Pad Ke Muow" or "Pad Si Euw" and I enjoyed them very much. Keen to know your...
Read moreWe had dinner in this place. I have been here for dinner twice so far. On weekend night the place is very busy and you have to book it earlier to get the table. Weekday night is not too busy, not all tables are occupied and less waiters/waitresses. Make sure you order it asap after you get your table as the waiting time is quite long. We ordered Pla muak tod - fried calamari and Seafood platter for entree. It’s not too pleasant to eat since a bit too oily. The portion is ok for entree.
Then we ordered Tom yum soup with chicken, it’s too sweet for our tastes, would love if it could be a bit more sour and spicy. The Stir fried garlic and pepper pork is superb, balance flavour, the glaze of the meat looks appetising, tasted very good compare the other food. Massaman curry beef, flavour wise was nice too, it has pineapple, potatoes, peanuts, tender beef meat. The portion is a bit small and the meat is small chunk. Gai yang - grilled chicken, not too dry, still juicy, taste good, big portion. Kao pad - fried rice with beef, a bit oily, big slice of beef, taste good.
Overall the food is good, the service is good but a bit long waiting time for food serving...
