Just would like to let everyone know my experience with Go Fish, Fish and Chip shop last night so you don't get the same problem. Ordered at 5.45pm online, got a message from uber at 6.06pm telling me my order was set up through the restaurant and was being processed. At 6.23pm got a message from Uber saying delivery had been cancelled, tried to contact Restaurant and was either permanently engaged or when it rang for a minute the message" phone is switched off" then at 6.33pm had a message to say my order had been picked up and would be there in 14 mins, fine I thought. Then another message from Uber at 6.44pm saying order has been set up by the restaurant via uber estimated delivery 7.19pm so I tried calling again and again with no one answering or permanently engaged. In the end my son was in Main St so I sent him in there to find out what was going. He waited in line to be told there was no order for my name and address in the system. I then sent him back with my receipt for him then to be told that weren't doing deliveries but I could come in and pick up In 20 mins, I asked if they would refund the delivery charge to which they replied " No". So I told them to cancel the order and refund the whole thing. They did this in cash to my son without apology or any remorse. I will not be using this place again and unless you want to be messed around like no one's business I wouldn't either. Just another case of local businesses in Mornington not giving a rats arse when they are busy like school holidays. Please pass this on so others don't end up with...

Ordered dinner for the family via phone, excited to eat on the beach. Get quoted a 25min wait - perfect, we were 20mins away from the beach. Get to the shop, exactly on the quoted time, waited in a long queue to get to the registers, paid and then waited. And waited. And waited. 30mins of waiting and I asked where my food was. Was told it won’t be long. There were other customers experiencing the same incorrect waiting time quote.
Another 15mins and my food is finally ready. I’m then told that they have no chicken nuggets and they will refund me - this is over an hour since I ordered, and they couldn’t tell me earlier???
Accept the refund and walk to the beach. My steak sandwich with the lot is apparently just toasted bread, steak and lettuce. The steak was so chewy I couldn’t eat it. Rest of the food was average, and my kids were sad about missing out on their...

I have ordered from them on a number of occasions and it is 10 out of 10. when I rang to let the restaurant know, the kind, generous man there was concerned if I had eaten. Had closed down and was cleaning up, wanted to start everything up again and cook me the order and then deliver it himself on the way home from a hard days work. He also rang Menulog and they rang me back trying to tell me that my PayPal could not be put back in for 7 to 10 days. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. I told them I needed to speak to a manager and it was put straight back in my account. My sincere thanks to the kind, considerate and hardworking people from this establishment. Please order all your fish & chips burgers ect from them. They are lovely people, and we should do our best to help the good businesses...
