Store Fifteen — Restaurant in Melbourne

Coffee average. We've been going to store 15 for years, since it first opened, they used to have the best coffee in mornington, unfortunately their coffee and baristas have gone down hill that we rarely go there now. Juices and smoothies always good and chai is delicious but coffee has fallen short. Today we had a soy latte and the latte creme looked like scrambled tofu, we were told that that's just the nature of soy milk and you can't avoid it, which tells us you have an amateur barista or someone that doesn't know how to work with soy milk. I've been a barista and you can just as easily get nice soft creamy soy milk creme you just have to work it differently. Plus we've had plenty of soy coffees elsewhere that don't come looking like tofu. Their treats and fruity banana bread is deliciousness, it's just a shame about the coffee because we know how good or can and used to be. Visited two weeks ago passing through the area. Was a little confused to find the cafe opening at 11.30am despite it stating it opened at 8am on a Sunday online. The line was long to order, but it moved quickly. We sat inside as a group of three and found our meals came out at very random and stunted times. Food wise, can't fault it. I enjoyed the vegan crumpets. Coffee wise it was okay. Cafe interior is cosy and as such, wouldn't make it suitable for people with prams or needing high chairs for babies. Great environment to eat, chill, and bring your dog! For the health cautious everything here including the muffins is clean! Love their raw vegan chocolate mousse for the boost of magnesium. Awesome passion fruit mango smoothie for the summer. BOMB coffee. Clean place to eat. The most friendly and good looking (if I may add) staff I’ve ever met in any cafe. Beautiful people, great vibes all around and it’s welcome for kids and dogs. Only thing I would recommend to them is that they expand their menu, add more and newer items...
