Came tonight to enjoy Xmas Eve dinner and wow it was so pleasant. A staff came to our table to take our order and advised us the special that was offer for the night. From the staff's advise we order the lobster with pasta. From the menu we order a pizza along with an Entree size mussel with Focaccia. A little while a second staff came to us to confirm the order. The lobster with pasta and pizza came first and I do have to say the lobster with pasta is better than having at the Lobster Cave. Whilst having our dishes the first staff who originally took our order came to apologise to us, as he wasn't meant to take our order and because a second staff had to confirm our order he might have thought that wasn't right. We told the staff it was good and we had no problems about it. Our Mussels came but the Focaccia didn't. While we were still having our pizza and pasta, the staff who confirmed out order came to apologise to us as well as he thought there was a hiccup. We told him there wasn't any hiccups, however, we are only still waiting for our Focaccia. He then went to follow up with the kitchen. Around 10 minutes later the Focaccia came. I spoke to the staff and told him that the Mussels has became cold whilst waiting for the Focaccia. The staff advise us he will speak with his manager. The manager came in about 5 minutes and apologies to us and asked if we want to move the dish from the bill. I told the manager, we would still like the dish and the manager said not a problem he will get the kitchen to make a fresh one and priorities our dish. I can see staff was checking on our table after 5 minutes but our Mussels was still not served. Manager was called to follow up with the kitchen again. Few minutes passed and the Mussels was brought to us. When we finished our dinner and asked for the bill. The staff who confirmed our order was me he would need to speak with his manager as there was so many hiccups made to see what can be done. I have never expected staffs and manager apologies so many time to us for something that we didn't think was a need to apologise that many times. Manager ended up removing the beer and the Focaccia from our bill and even when we were paying the bill he still apologise for all the hiccups for night. Now days where can you find a restaurant that take responsibility for their minor mistakes?. I have not come across any restaurants except for this restaurant tonight. I am very happy with the service provided tonight and have the ownership to admit mistakes. Staffs and manager had made my night very enjoyable. Big ThankYou for the considerate...

We went last night for Valentine's Day. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated for our 6:15 booking, and as soon as we sat down were asked if we were ready for our mains. It only went downhill from there. We waited a while to order our drinks, after having to ask for the drinks menu a few times. Our entrees came out at 6:45, which was ok because we didn't order right when we sat down. Our waitress came and cleared the table and asked if we were ready for mains. We said yes and then waited 2 hours before they arrived. We sat for an hour and a half and then decided to ask where they were. We understood that it was a busy night, and people were lining up for tables next to us so we could see how busy it was. After we asked about our food, we were told it was only a few minutes away. A few minutes later our waitress came back over to apologise for the wait and offered us a free glass of prosecco each. At this point, we knew that something had gone wrong and they had forgotten our food. Everyone around us had received their mains, even people who had received their entrees after we said we were ready for mains. What really frustrated me was that in the half an hour we waited between asking where our mains were, and when we received them, a couple who was waiting in line for their table had been seated, and served their entree and then their main. All in the half an hour we had to wait for our food, after being told it was minutes away. By the time we got our food we weren't that hungry, so got the rest to take home with us, along with our desserts. When we went inside to pay, it was pure chaos. People waiting at the front for tables (for almost 2 hours) and people waiting to pay. We waited another 20 minutes before we paid. We gave one of the ladies some feedback about the night, and she tried to snap back at us. We told her that we understood the situation, but if you cannot accommodate that many people, don't let that many people book. We finally left three hours later, with our take away dessert. I have never left a restaurant feeling such disappointment before. This experience has changed our minds about Gradi, and we probably won't be back. What should have been a lovely night (which we were both so excited for), turned out to be very disappointing and...

valentine’s day dinner, our booking was 8pm and we didn’t get seated till 8:55pm? almost an hour standing in line (the line was wrapped around the building) and everyone in this line had a booking… when we were finally sat our table it was covered in grease from the people before us and not set with any cutlery at all. another waiter came over and put plates and cutlery on the table but didn’t wipe the grease off? 5 minutes later a different waiter named marco came over, from the moment he came across to our table he was so apologetic and made the experience AMAZING, he took care of my partner and i aswell as the tables around us, EVERYONE in his section was saying how their experience had been turned around ONLY because marco was our waiter. he was present all the time, smiling and joking despite the restaurant being over filled. food was good at the time but woke up the next morning vomiting and shivers from food poisoning. there was a senior waiter with brown hair in a bun last night that yelled at our waiter infront of half the restaurant down stairs and everyone turned to see what was happening and she was yelling at him on floor for something that was out of his control, that was absolutely atrocious to see a senior staff member yelling at the one person that made everyone’s night… two of the cocktails i received were almost non drinkable, the first one tasted like the smell of mould and the second one was so incredibly bitter. the only reason my partner and i would ever come again would be if marco was working, if not we would never come back after an experience like that. marco needs to be recognised for the AMAZING service he gave and turned what was an absolutely awful valentines dinner into something special. would recommend not going here in future to everyone, why overbook whilst understaffed? whilst waiting in line everyone was turning around and talking to eachother and we all said that if we hadn’t have prepaid that we all would have left and gone...

ORDERED: 🦞  Lobster benedict: Poached eggs, lobster tail, house made tarragon hollandaise, thick cut brioche, chives ($26.00) + 🥔 extra hash brown ($4.00) 🌶️  Chilli scramble: Heirloom tomatoes, nduja crumb, chilli, parsley, grated grana padano D.O.P., sourdough ($19.00) ☕  Mocha ($4.50) I paid $28.75 for my portion (split between two). REVIEW: Came in spontaneously, looking for a brunch place and they were happy to serve us within the 10 minutes until they swapped over to the lunch menu! 💖  Under time pressure, my friend and I chose the Lobster Benedict and the Chilli Scramble. Both were delicious, with the scramble delivering on the creaminess and the spiciness! 👏 The burst of tomatoes added some tart sweetness which cut through the butteriness. It was a great dish. The lobster benedict was even better. Thick soft, sweet bread really absorbed the hollandaise sauce. With smattering amounts of lobster, it was a perfectly savoury-sweet dish that was addictive. Highly recommend this combination, especially when it's done well! Add on freshly fried extra hash brown for that satisfying CRUNCH. 💥 Interior was gorgeous, and service was sweet. The waitress was very nice and the team brought out our food with rapid fire pace. Never thought 400 Gradi would be great outside of lunch/dinner, but I pleasantly surprised with the quality of their brunch options.

Chefs to be commended, wait staff to be condemned. I wish google would allow you to seperate food and service. Can not fault the dining offered here and would rate the food 5/5 stars. Unfortunately the wait staff spoil the experience. I dined yesterday evening and was absolutely appalled by the manners and decorum of a senior female waiter. As I was seated at the table she snatched my wine glass stating “you won’t be needing this tonight” assuming I was too young to drink. Little did she know I was in fact well above drinking age. She then proceeded to dismiss me all night only talking to my male company - I later realised this is because she believed he would pay the bill. When I asked for the bill she lost the last professionalism she had left and her mouth hit the floor when she questioned that I was in fact asking for the bill and not my male counterpart. I was absolutely appalled that she doubted my ability to settle the account. Once I paid the bill she attempted to flatter me but it was far too little to late and I wanted nothing to do with the women. Whilst I cannot fault the food and I thank the chefs for delivering an absolutely sensational meal, I will never be returning based on the judgemental wait staff. It is 2022, this is what a successful business woman looks like.

We booked here to try something new on the main street as we always get out for birthday dinner. We we're happy catching up until it's ruined. The food is good (my pizza was nice) but service isn't. After what we experience we won't be coming back. The italian guy who served our food is amazing and very engaging. They forgot something in our order and he immediately rectified it without any hesitation (which is no big deal) but the female staff who's taking the order is very unprofessional and rude. Have made some appalling comments to our group, and said "is that all? Such a small order" even everyone ordered a meal and drinks, some of us even asked for a refill, but it doesn't matter how much our bill, the point is, service shouldn't change no matter how big or small you spent if it's genuine. It's just the principle of it. We felt discriminated. She is very judgemental and continuously made side comments throughout the night that makes us so uncomfortable, as if we can't pay our meal, so we just left. Staff like that will make business fail. Such a pity one bad apple can affect the good ones. If she's the owner, then goodluck!
