I came in for lunch today as a party of two and had a mixed experience. The cafe itself is really nice: quaint, with really nice outdoor seating surrounded by a nice garden. The staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. In addition, the prices were quite reasonable (which is a plus).
But the food itself just wasn't great - in terms of both quality and quantity. I had poached eggs on toast with tomato, spinach, avocado and bacon. The eggs we're a bit underdone, I only received half a tomato and 1 slice of sourdough. I asked for another slice and was charged an extra $3. Their wasn't a lot of bacon either.
The other person I was with had a bowl of soup they said didn't taste great and who ordered a weak latte (that came out regular strength).

My gal had the raspberry muffin which was enormous but perfectly fresh and tasty. Nice menu with simple food that is wholesome and fresh. The cafe has the loveliest atmosphere, something a cross between the popular local and a hippy get together cafe. Staff are wonderful and make you feel very welcome.
