It's often you head to an Indian restaurant in Melbourne with not very high expectations...especially being an Indian well travelled and quite critical of what kind of Indian food one might get.....Indian Tandoori Recipe Chef is simply AWESOME!!! NOT KIDDING, every dish...Goat curry (OMG!!! completely melted)...chicken tikka masala...mango chicken - both seriously crazzzyyy yummy....Dal Makhani Bukhara (Maurya Delhi may have to possibly wonder there is ultimately someone better!!).... not to forget the authentic yummy balanced just a tad bit spicy taste of the lamb chops and chicken Tikkas....every element was THE BEST I have personally ever had... had to call the chef out...Shivani and Kuldeep....to find someone so humble ..no wonder the food was soooo gooooddd....make the trip guys, some seriously tasty food and standards which a restaurant hidden away like this must get recognised for!!!... thanks to the entire team...we were six of us and ate like hogs and loved every...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience. The portion sizes were shockingly small for the price. The Chicken Tikka Masala came in a container no bigger than a single portion yogurt cup, with barely a single chicken thigh inside (smallest chicken tikka masala I’ve seen in a restaurant) Paying over $20 for that — given the location, atmosphere, and watery taste — felt like outright daylight robbery. You’d expect it to be at least enough for a person, but that wasn’t the case.
The Lamb Biryani had very little meat, and the fried rice was mostly plain rice with frozen vegetables and just two tiny shrimp — completely lacking in flavor. The same went for the other dishes we tried, including the Goat Curry. Even the naan breads were disappointingly small.
Overall, the food was underwhelming in both quality and quantity. Not recommended.

Read moreWhile acknowledging the effort that goes into making Indian food, I have to express disappointment with my recent experience. Opting for the family pack, we had high hopes, but unfortunately encountered some shortcomings.
Cons: The butter chicken was excessively sweet, detracting from the overall enjoyment. The entrees seemed oily and lacked freshness, which was a letdown. Regrettably, our 14-year-old found the raita unappealing, describing it in rather blunt terms. While her choice of words may seem harsh, it reflects her genuine perception.
Pros: On a brighter note, the lamb curry was flavorful dish. The mutter paneer was decent, albeit not exceptional. Both the rice and roti were ok in terms of taste and texture.
With a bit more attention to detail, this establishment has the potential to deliver truly delightful...
