Jason's Bakehouse — Restaurant in Melbourne

Stumbled across Jason's bakehouse as I had some work out this side of town. Got myself a coffee and egg bacon roll. Service by the gentleman at the counter was very friendly who had good energy about him who I assume is Jason. While waiting for the food and coffee to be made I was just observing the shop. They have alot of variety of foods you can order from pies, sandwiches, rolls, desserts and cakes. They've got it all here and the prices are very affordable. I was quite surprised by the servicing size of egg bacon roll as well as my coffee. If you're in the area looking for breakie or lunch check this joint out. I purchased a Vanilla Slice, and was no t disappointed. It was compact and remarkably tidy; not too tall and not too big. A firm biscuit base made it easier to hold, and the custard was fresh and creamy, with visible dots of blended vanilla bean. As for the icing, it was a thin white (not pink) veneer that was just sweet enough. Light and modestly sized, it was less likely to weigh you down

Also got a chunky beef pie, which had the right amount of steak to get that...

Ordered here for my partners birthday, as we had a good experience the previous 2 times. This time they charged me the price of a large cake without providing the cake, and my order was also missing a milkshake but they gave me a straw... the doughnut icings were all falling off and just looked like someone slapped the order together with no care but with much contempt.
