Never discount that the burbs can’t hold their own with their city counterparts when it comes to good food. Tonight I had the most delicious roti with sauce and massaman beef curry with rice. Nice blend of flavours and the beef was tender. The curry wasn’t too spicy and the size of the meal was plentiful. The staff are so lovely and quick with service. Although a small restaurant, it could easily seat 50 people in nice decor that is a mixture of cushioned corner tables to regular stainless tables. I believe there is a small outdoor area as well and will return to check that out in the warmer months. Notes: recommend booking on those busy Friday or Saturday nights, dietaries catered for, suitable for vegetarians, restaurant is wheelchair friendly, kid friendly, takeaway available and the parking is reasonable in the Main Street.

Hubs was craving Thai food so I suggested this restaurant given it had a 4 rating. Upon arrival it was clear that it was pensioner central which I would have been okay with had they not run out of satay chicken entrees. There was also a decent gap in bringing each individual main out which was frustrating for me given mine arrived last and I was starving. The flavours were spot on and the beef was really tender and nothing like the stringy meat you often get in these noodle dishes. Unfortunately it was let down by relatively raw vegetables, pretty unattractive presentation and worst of all, an ungenerous portion size. It was about that time I really wished they hadn’t run out of the skewers, we wouldn’t go back

Excellent food, congested atmosphere, friendly service The waitresses got orders mixed up in that they called out wrong dish name and we took the dish thinking it was ours but turned out for another couple at end of our table. But embarrassing but I guess the large groups were too much for the staff to handle. Perhaps they should limit numbers? Food itself was really good!! Try not to go on Saturday nights

Five Stars! A Culinary Gem in Croydon!

"The Thai Lemon Tree in Croydon is an absolute delight! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is beautiful, and the ambience is perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

The food? It's absolutely phenomenal. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic Thai flavours, and the ingredients were clearly fresh and of the highest quality. The presentation of each dish was also impeccable.

The service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to offer recommendations and ensure we had a wonderful dining experience.

This restaurant truly stands out for its commitment to quality and authenticity. It’s easily the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time, and I can't wait to return. If you're looking for an exceptional Thai dining experience, look no further than the Thai Lemon Tree. Highly...

I've lived nearby for some time now, and have been meaning to try this cozy place out. One night when me and my partner were starving and couldn't be bothered cooking (terribly hungover from the night before), we sought out their menu online and went in to order takeaway. We looked like bums with trackies and hoodies on but they still served us with the grace that they would to anyone else dressed for the occasion! We waited 10-15 minutes tops for our food and were served water while we were waiting, which was a blessing considering I was hungover! When we got home and served ourselves we were also surprised that the containers were covered with cling wrap to avoid spillage, I've never seen that before but I was happy about it! The food itself was great, I got red curry with calamari and my partner got yellow curry with beef, with a coconut rice and roti bread 😊 Definetly ordering takeaway and dining in...
