Read moreBack here after a few years. Last time I didnt have a good experience, I remember I didnt like their fried chicken and a lamb soup was just so so. But in this visit we tried different things: veggie pancake, mandu soup, kimchi fried rice and I was impressed. Veggie pancake was beautiful. It was piping hot when it came out, and you can see big pieces of veggies in it, it tasted yummy too. This restaurant has so many pancakes choice, not just the usual kimchi or seafood. Then kim chi fried rice was nice, although I cant say I have had that many before to judge. I would say a portion of kimchi fried rice can feed 3 people as two of us couldnt finish it. The mandu soup was subtle in flavour, but it was nice and warming. It has beef pieces in them, actually cut quite thick, an egg and some carrots pieces. I usually dont like bland soup but this I would say mild taste than bland, I still really enjoyed it. Their side dishes are beautiful too. Enjoyed my dinner...
Read moreI am south Korean. Our family ordered 2 large jjajangmyeon yesterday(if cook in this restaurant watch this, you would know who we are). Its taste was Too far from expectation. Too much blackbean sauce without enough ingredient like onion and pork etc. Most importantly it was very salty! Our family including my kid who love jjajangmyeon refused to eat even we were hungry. This was my first time in my life I dumped jjajangmyeon because it was not edible. I couldn't understand how this restaurant got this high review score. Probably other meals may be fine!? Rather dubious though. Maybe main cook went to holiday and random someone cooked my meals instead or still good enough to 'Non-Korean' who doesn't know the original flavor. Anyway if you are Korean and are looking for 'Korean food', this restaurant is definitely not what you are after. It deserve 1 star but generously I will give 2 stars to encourage...
